MGM - 1948
One of the greatest movies ever made with four of the greatest actors that ever lived!
Edward g Robinson, Bogart, Bacall are 3 of the four, I'm assuming you're referring too. Can you tell me who you consider the 4th? I'm curious. Thanks
@@lilpuppet1992must be lionel barrymore😊
Great movie. I watched it and visited the location in Key Largo, Florida.
“Key Largo” is in my Top 10 favorite Films of all time. Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall & Edward G. Robinson on the same screen is TOO GOOD! 10/10! Perfect Film to watch on a grey rainy Saturday afternoon. Hell or ANYTIME!
Claire Trevor breaks my heart as the lush turned savior.
Classic film for sure. Bogey and Bacall. Love this one.
Welcome to the new era of the American Film and Television History. The Platinum Age of Hollywood.
IT’S CURTAINS ROCKY! CURTAINS!!
If this trailer doesn't build interest and excitement to watch this cinema classic I guess nothing else will.
Bogart, Bacall, Barrymore and Edward G. Are you kidding me? This was a cast of Hollywood heavyweights. Mr. Robinson is convincing in any role, a brilliant actor. Same can be said about all of them really.
CLAIRE TREVOR won the OSCAR !!!
@@robertwalker5521 - Yes, her too, when he made her sing for a drink was an amazing scene that was hard to watch and powerful af. I should have mentioned her, it was an oversight but no disrespect meant.
I didn't realize how many movies Humphrey Bogart made with Lauren Bacall.
RIP Ms. Bacall
What a woman
and Mr. Bogey
This movie is amazing 😊
“We had it all”
'just like Bogie and Bacall".
Oops!!! Lauren Bacall. Also, look how young she is.
That hotel is still in operation on Key Largo.
Wow! And I thought it was a set or better still, a fictitious place.
No. Everything was done in L A. but the aerial shot of the bridge. The Caribbean Club was not used.
few actors have the chemistry
like bogart and bacall had in this movie
trevor was fantastic
films don't get better than this
Love this movie
I always thought yhis movie was the sequal to Dark Passage with Bogart and Bacall. I just realized that its not.
This came on TCM last week and I got to see it for like the fifth time. It's amazing how well this movie holds up to today. The dialogue, Bogie, Bacall and Robinson, the tension, it's all great.
Frankly speaking in this movie Edward G Robinson acted superbly n he almost overshadowed Great Humphrey Bogart.
MARVELOUS FILM DARLING....💝
Wow wow wow 👌 watched this movie for the first time last night. How can a movie from the 40s be this good!!! The acting and script are sublime and put movies certainly from the 70s to shame and probably every other decade too. Looks beautiful in hi def. For me this slighty surpasses the other bogart bacall collaborations. Bacall doesn't say a lot in this movie the plot is way bigger than her or bogart they are just slices of this cake the other actors are all sublime. Never thought I'd be watching 30s 40s and 50s movies but after watching everything from the 80s onwards I was left with the 70s which I find is like method acting it seems horribly forced. The only thing I ever want from a film is to forget I am watching 👀 a film. If I am watching a film and thinking the acting could be better it's just a painful 90mins. Listen to the writing in this script if you watch it and definitely watch in HD it makes the black and white contrast really special. The women of this era were so beautiful not tangerine looking with a I love magaluf tattoo.
Exelent lionel
i like the ending :) made me happy! :D
Poignant Steiner score.
Yup per top notch
I’m about to watch this movie for the first time
I would love to see what the stage version is like. I suspect the hotel is the main setting.
Best scene.....
Officer: Then the lights went off, again!
Toots: I'm the electrician!
The script for this movie is unbelievable I watched it for the first time last night. Its so sharp love that part about wanting MORE... never thought I'd be watching movies from the 40s but after running out of movies from the 80s to present and not being greatly impressed by 70s movies I've now hit a purple patch of movies from the 30s 40s and 50s. Watching in hi def is sublime.
vine por bates motel
I would like to see the full colourised version of this film again.

is that drew barrymore's granddad?
this is not hd!
It's HD for 1948. You can only polish a turd so much also is your device HD !!! cos if it isn't it won't look HD.
This is pure crapola. Fake phony playwriting. Bogart can't redeem Maxwell Anderson's dead ear, and Bacall is miscast as a "nice girl." Edward G. Robinson is the only reason to watch this movie.
