I lived in Albuquerque for two years now and never heard half the eateries mentioned. Here are a couple of my personal favorites. The Range Restaurant on Montgomery and Wyoming for the arguably best country fried steak. Basil Leaf is my Vietnamese spot. Get the clay pot with chicken. Taste of India’s buffet will get you bloated full of curry love. Tip Thai is a very unassuming strip mall eatery with THE BEST Thai cuisine. Want a cozy Mexican loung/bar/restaurant experience with good food then check out El Patron.
I lived there in 1986. I liked it a lot but certain it’s different now. My favorite restaurant was the Mexican Kitchen. . It probably doesn’t exist anymore. Many good memories. Some bad ones too. Lol.

El Pinto restaurant in Corrales, just outside of Albuquerque is a jewel of New Mexican cuisine!
the magical place where the sun is always shining, the air smells like warm root beer, the towels are oh so fluffy!
No ABQ. does not suck. It's a unique desert city nestled against breathtaking forest clad mountains and a great climate!
