That was my first thought, but my idea was to make a bench pillow with the pant and a coordinating, or not, ugly sweater… it could be a good present for Christmas 🎄. Thank you for sharing the pattern. ❤️
These pyjama pants are so cute and it would be great in any fabric, as someone already mentioned using old pyjamas would be nice. This block would be really cute sized down to make a wall hanging.

If you cut 10" x 18"ish you can get all 3 pieces and have enough for another pair of pants or half of the fat quarter left.

I have done something similar and used a 'Jenny' method of using a rectangle instead of a bias triangle.. Worked great and then squared them and then added the 'waist'...

It's cute but too much work, should have just made it foundation paper pieced so much easier
I'm sorry but for me this is way too complicated. If I'm going to do this pattern, it'll be as an turned machine sewn applique with one sided iron on interfacing, like a Sun Bonnet Sue. Or it'll be a raw edge iron on applique. Either way this WILL go on my wishlist of quilts to make, just not for 2024. I'll start it in January lol.
