Lovely! Great idea! The only thing I would do differently is spray paint the cardboard letters gold or silver to make it look more metal-like. :)

Your meticulous efforts paid off! Trust me I feel your pain, i just DIY'd a floral monogram on my channel and I felt the same way--only I had way less flowers to juggle so I can only imagine!! Seems to me u could save some time & effort by simply poking holes through the cardboard and inserting the flowers. Secure w/ glue if needed...

i did this same thing but i got flowers to match my room and painted the cardboard letters that way the flowers matched the letter and it blended nicely

If you had pliers, wire cutters or a Gerber multi tool it makes it a hell of a lot easier to cut the wire in the flower stems

you can use nails or command strips or any sort of hooks. you can cut a hole in the top of the letter, but mine already had little tabs that i showed at the end of the video

As soon as I read "Don not buy from Hobby Lobby" I closed the video, Hobby Lobby is the best.
Lesty Serrano they are and honestly it was a bit alienating to just randomly put that in with a diy tutorial. And the more I researched the dispute I believe everyone is referring to, the more I realized how ridiculous it is to be so hateful towards the entire business. The dispute happened because there were 4 different kinds of birth control they didn't want to pay for due to religious objections (the insurance company made it clear they'd help any beneficiaries get it at an affordable cost without requiring the owners to against their conscience). Remember that there are at least 9 other forms of contraception that are able to be prescribed. This includes the pills (mini pill, combined hormones, & extended cycle), the patch, nuvaring, depo provera shot, arm implant, diaphragms, and cervical caps. Then there are all of the non prescription options that are not hard to find at reasonable prices and sometimes for free (male condoms, female condoms, today sponge, standalone spermicides, and cycle tracking, which you can find more info on by reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler). The ones hobby lobby didn't want to pay for were the hormonal and copper iuds and emergency contraceptive pills, including plan B which can be bought from basically any pharmacy or drugstore with no restrictions. All forms of prescription contraceptives can be obtained at publicly funded title X or other community health centers such as local health departments for free or low cost in every state

scotch sells double stick tape that isn't permanent, otherwise command hooks through those plastic tabs you can see on mine!

Bethany Grace I love that store. They have a great selection of stickers (I once needed a bunch for a project I was working on) as well as wide variety of posters. Also when I was in college that was the only good craft store unless I traveled to a large city that has a horrible crime rate (it's one of the most dangerous cities in the state)

where did you hear that about hobby lobby and don't believe everything you hear. the ones here have many women working and managing them and they are not at home slaving in the kitchen. I just think these videos would be better off as demonstrations and how to do things and not trying to have others believe in your views of a company...I actually like hobby lobby but your statement took me away from what you were making. just saying....just gave you my point of view back is all.
Hobby lobby is a company not afraid to use their platform as a voice for Jesus Christ. Those who love and live for the Lord are excited to see big company’s stand up for Christ. I hope more people dig a little deeper into what we believe in and educate themselves on what the core of Christianity is and it’s certainly not hate for any gender or community. Those who claim to be Christians and speak hate over people do not truly have God’s love in their heart, but are using “religion” as an excuse to push their opinions and agenda. This truly brings sadness to my heart that people will associate Christianity with this bad behavior. Please seek God out yourselves and not take people’s word for what it might be, because God is most definitely not a God who puts women down, I can vouch for that. “God is within her, she will not fall” Psalm 46:5 NIV but when hateful comments come after me to argue their case against a chain store, search your heart in your own standing with God- Jesus said “They will do all this to you because of me, for they have rejected the one who sent me.” John 15:21 NLT

You get a THUMBS DOWN for getting all political on a Flower DIY. For your info, I happen to love Hobby Lobby and in my area they have added many jobs that pay more than twice the minimum wage for entry level jobs. they also provide excellent health benefits and more to people that would otherwise have to take a job that pays about $7.50 bucks an hour, pt and no benefits or benefits they can not afford to take part in. They also employ more women and minorities than comparable companies. Stop watching MSM and inhaling their liberal talking points. Not to mention they have great home decor, fabrics, crafts supplies, frames and artificial flowers and they alternate huge sales through the store every week. You should have advised people not to shop at WALMART! Their FT employees are eligible for FOODSTAMPS and MEDICAID!! A truly disgusting company!!! Oh..you then show that your paper mache was made in the Phillipines...where do you think Walmart get their products from? CHINA!! BeautyIsMyCulture The reason she says hobby lobby is misogynistic is not because SHE had a bad experience, it is because they refuse to cover birth control options for women on their health care and even went to the Supreme Court. We live in an overpopulated world and cheap, effective birth control is very important.
