Shigechi’s death shocked me and made me realize Kira would do anything to protect his identity. Like even tho shigechi was annoying sometimes, he was just a middle school kid. He just wanted friends and to protect his family. Yet he died early because Kira knew he had to kill him. This show made me feel so many emotions and even tho part 4 was more time compared to others, I think I that’s what made the deaths hurt more.
One thing that actually hits hard about Shigechi for me, is that initially he cried over the compliments of Okuyasu and Josuke, saying he'd never been complimented before, shows just how grateful he was even though he was indeed trying to take all the money from josuke and okuyasu, he still was a faithful friend till' the end and looked for Josuke and Okuyasu...Farewell Yangu Shigekiyo A.K.A.
