@@cruisewithmyfather2730I’m going on a cruise soon & all my family are bringing a 1 litre bottle each. I didn’t know that was an actual rule, I thought my family was just sneaking it on to get drunk without having to pay the ships prices 😂
Irons are banned on cruise ships as there classed as a major fire hazard, they won't allow even for you to bring on a travel on or anything like that. But depending on which ship you go on, most do have a laundry section on board in which you find all these items to use and washing machines etc etc.
We have brought the non alcoholic drinks package. How do they know you have the drinks package when you order? Can you order any drink at costa without an extra charge? Do you have to mention you have the drinks package whilst ordering a drink? Thanks
When you get your cruise card, this will be printed on it or a little sticker showing you have the drinks package and which one. Yes. The P&O non-alcoholic drinks package costs £19.95 and includes bottled water (500ml only), draught soft drinks, long life juices, primo Costa coffees, teas, hot chocolates, and non-alcoholic cocktails. Other non-alcoholic drinks, such as canned drinks, can be bought at a 20% discount. Remember also if you wish you can bring 1 litre of spirits onboard also per adult.
The WiFi isn't free sadly and there is a couple of different packages available from £12 to £24 a day. If you pay for the week its better value, but all depends on your needs.
@@cruisewithmyfather2730 thank you! There’s a lot to do one the ship so I’m just wondering if it’s worth it or not because I’m not sure how much I’d even need the internet
@@onaematopia Some of it also comes down to what your mobile supplier offers when abroad and where your going. If I'm ihe canaries I do to bother as it works in port and I can catch up with loved ones in port. Sometimes you have 2 sea days and you may need to contact someone so it's essential so it comes down to your needs.
@@jonnypetch6891 thank you! I’m going to Spain & Portugal. One last question, this may sound silly but can you get phone signal when you’re in the middle of the sea? I never really thought about that until now
Yes BUT No !!! When at sea you can use your phone as normal but at a MASSIVE charge, so you aways need to remember to put your phone onto Aeroplane mode to avoid any charges. If you only need to not do much id say forget the package and even if your phone doesn't have roaming. Follow the crew as the always seek the ports free wifi in certain places and of course, there is Mcdonalds etc. In which you can use the free wifi. @@onaematopia
