This particular recording is the best rendition of this song by Ernie in my opinion. Im this recording, he just sings with passion. Sometimes simple is best. He's not doing too much and the phrasing creates a better blend with the rest of the quartet. His vocals are more controlled too.

This is probably my favorite presentation of its kind. The thing just builds to a crescendo, and eases off with the crowd on its feet. Never saw such drama in a song like this.
