Bayonetta... 15 Years Later!!

Bayonetta is an epic classic, and still very playable in 2024. It's the ultimate hack-and-slash game. It’s simple to grasp but with more intricate moves for the advanced players to pull off the combo strings. Bayonetta can be equipped with different weapons that allow different perks, with some being guns to provide more distant attacks or a sword for melee. By defeating enemies, halos are obtained which is the game’s currency. These are used to further unlock Bayonetta’s potential by allowing her to gain new techniques for combos. A big key to the combat is her evade ability that when pulled correctly, slows time down, allowing for major attacks and potentially an instant kill torture attack. Bayonetta graphically may not be up to par with current-gen releases, but it does make for a wonderful-looking remaster. Platinum Games have a great ability to make games look brilliant and hold the test of time without the graphics looking extremely jagged and broken. The cutscenes are still as amazing as ever to watch and Bayonetta’s demonic hair summons are a sight to see. It's a gorgeous game with gorgeous characters and gorgeous environments. All around it's just a fantastic masterpiece!!
