    Doesn't the collar have to be rotated about 1/8th turn to release from the shaft? All of the pillow block bearings that I have seen use a collar the is off center and has to be rotated clockwise slightly to tighten or counterclockwise slightly to loosen. The removal of the old bearing and installation of the new one is so much easier with a hydraulic press. I paid around $200 for mine and would never go back to hammering again as long as it will fit in the press. Good video either way. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi there Eric, Great vid. answered some questions. Do you remember the gauge hex key size for the bear locking screws? I'm in Australia, but my metric hex keys don't seem to fit the lock screws. May have to go find a imperial set. Thanks, Jeff

    Makes it easier if you heated the bearing up some and it would have went right on , but thanks for video
