Greg Blanchard ...great Fathers Day gift to see your videos. Maybe not epic day, but certainly a good day though long on the water. Thank you for sharing again. Side note )))) seeing you take those treble baits off the fish, have you ever got hooked? It happened to me once and yanking it out was hell
Hey just out of curiosity what reels and rods do you use? I am especially interested in the reels. I have a brand new Lews Pro Ti reel never used & still in the box, so I am going to sell it so I can get 2 reels to add to my arsenal.
Hey Greg. OG viewer here! I knew I would eventually get a pedal drive kayak but not as soon as I thought! Picked up a Slayer Propel 10 yesterday after I saw that a guy was selling one for a good price. Took it out the same day and ended up catching my biggest bass of the year and largest frog bass ever at 5.47lbs. Video will be posted on my channel later this week. The Pedal drive is a game changer! Your the man!
This is one of my favorite videos, man. I love the kayak. I'm thinking of asking for one that is similar once I graduate. Great video and quality! I also saw on your website that you are a PT. Man, I'm in my second year of PT school as well.
Been watching your videos for months now, motivated me to finally got myself a kayak and hopefully I’ll be fishing my first tournament soon! Really enjoy the content.
Way to end the day on a high note with that top water action. Love that yammie shad shape worm. Did very well with it at Berry and Comanche at the beginning of this year. Wtg! And as always we appreciate the vids. Tight Lines!
Man it’s fun watching your videos it’s a totally different type of fishing. I live in Oklahoma and seeing your videos with the clear water and what not man it’s cool. I have def become a follower for sure. Cool video.

This place is wonderful has beautiful fish Congratulations your fishing was very good. Hug and good fishing always.🔝
You sure caught a bunch of fish. That's a beautiful looking lake there. Now I'm hitting the water in a few minutes. Hopefully I can catch me a few bass before it heats up to much. Verygood video Greg.🙂
Yesterday me my bro was bank fishing at Eastman lake ca and nothing we throw was baiting....but is only 3 hours of fishing still a good day....thanks for the show...you make it looks so much fun
Another awesome video bud. At my favorite lake. Get a bag of 4 inch curly tail robo worms in hologram shad brother for when they are keyed in on shad. None the less good day still
Last year at Guntersville around dark I was fishing a frog on a little edge of grass mat. I threw my frog out and didn’t get a bite and left it sitting in the water by my boat before recasting to turn around and turn on my 360 light. The second I turned back around and pulled the frog up to recast a 5lber slammed it. I almost had a heart attack I’ve never been startled so hard fishing in my life. I caught the fish it was wild because I had a 5lber on with maybe two foot of line out. Your popper bite reminded me of it.
One of my home lakes nice to see you out there, that lake has biggens just have to in right spot at the right time, great fishing day for you tight lines buddy.
Hey Greg, I think you should visit San Pablo reservoir during spawning season. I seen a lot of big spots getting caught there along with Largies. Next year!
Get some 3-inch Berkley Powerbait Minnows or similar bait. Put them on a 1/8 oz jig with a size #1 or #2 hook. Cast and slowly swim back while giving light shakes and an occasional light pop. I think you will like the results.
Always good to see your uploads. Getting my Titan 12 this week, hope to be out soon on a pedal drive. I have a side transducer mount on my old kayak, wondering if you are still using the rail mount transducer. Thanks again.
Sup G, nice video. Man rocky area, shad jumping everywhere, Falcon Lake here is like that and I can always depend on cranking squarebills and ESPECIALLY my Storm Arashi lipless, you should try one out, blue/chrome always works as long as its not chocolate milk. Storm Arashi lipless, check em out. Again awesome vid brother!
yo greg I fish that place all the time when they are keyed in on shad like that the best thing to do is chuck a lv500 until your arm falls off especially in the morning 👌🏽
Man I woulda laughed so hard if you failed to net that spot after talking about netting on the right side vs the left. Love the vid man watched all of it! Cheers 👍
Not sure if u know this but when u r measuring your fish on your board and the bass has its tail up, rub his eyeball and his tail will relax and go down. Just keep stroking it till it does. It works
Hey Greg have you tried any of the Kastking baitcaster reels? I think they put out some really great reels at a fraction of the cost of some other reels I’ve owned!!! You should check them out! Have a great day sir!!
To everybody not from CA. The water is not low because of the lack of rain. It's a regular practice in water management to let water our the reservoir every summer.
You need to leave all other baits and only bring your big swimbaits if your trying to get one on your 250 just have to commit to the bait if you bring the rest of your tackle it’s going to continue to happen, switching to your other gear.i was like you until I listen to my friends advice and got my Pb which ain’t all that big just 5.5 lb but since I’m a newbie I finally understood what he was talking about.
A few people in my local kbf group have been switching to those ketch boards. They don't float right? I don't fully what makes it better. What's your thoughts on it. I'm commenting on this early in the video so forgive me if you cover it later in the video.

In clear water, bait color makes a big difference! Great job, Greg! You found a summer pattern!
This is one of my favorite videos, man. I love the kayak. I'm thinking of asking for one that is similar once I graduate. Great video and quality! I also saw on your website that you are a PT. Man, I'm in my second year of PT school as well.

These videos are awesome
The daily dose of internet music hits different in this god-tier video
You look like a character "Tick" walking down the ramp with your hair gone up..w/your sunglasses.

It is always a problem when you find a school of fish when you are tired...not really, lol!
That blowup at 7.15 though!!!!!
Hi Greg, Great video. What is the new hog trough you have in your video. Most we have seen don't have the small lines.
Hi Ed, KETCH board
What type of spinning rods and reel you use? Look solid
Hey Greg, when did you move your transducer? Didn't you have on a arm on the side of your rig?
A day full of ripped lips and kayak flips is a good day indeed 🤙🏽
A Great Day of Fishing in My book and for a change Calm Water NICE.
Hey Greg have you tried any of the Kastking baitcaster reels? I think they put out some really great reels at a fraction of the cost of some other reels I’ve owned!!! You should check them out! Have a great day sir!!
The white poppers work good is this in the morning?
Am from the UK but just wondering why you use just a hard hook set ??
Can you use panther Martin wanna catch a bass and trout
Question y do u have left hand retrieval and right hand retrieval reels
It would be cool to see you fish of a bass boat
Big ones spawn deeper waters later when water temps are consistent. And they smart from experience,
How do you have your side scan transducer mounted?
I wish my local lakes were stocked with more fish. 😞
What kind of wacky rig hooks do you use?
Cool video once again. Can anyone in the comment section suggest a launch/side of the lake to fish for a first time visit.
Yo what cover do you use for your bait caster?
Entertaining vid!
Lake don Pedro is pretty full I think and McClure is a bit lower than what Pedro is at
Hey Greg or anybody else what’s the average water temps out in Cali right now?
To everybody not from CA. The water is not low because of the lack of rain. It's a regular practice in water management to let water our the reservoir every summer.
Just wondering, have you ever thought about getting a big boat?
Yep, its crossed my mind!
Do you ever ledge fish during the summer?
Nope, not really an area to do it I guess. if i was around those TVA lakes I would def try but not really how lakes in norcal setup
I bet an a rig would have worked for a Shad feed.
Your kayak is bigger than 10.5 rite??
You need to leave all other baits and only bring your big swimbaits if your trying to get one on your 250 just have to commit to the bait if you bring the rest of your tackle it’s going to continue to happen, switching to your other gear.i was like you until I listen to my friends advice and got my Pb which ain’t all that big just 5.5 lb but since I’m a newbie I finally understood what he was talking about.
Roboworm sculpin in Aaron’s magic and sculpin for the dropshot. You’ll thank me later
ooooo sculpin!
Have you ever flipped your kayak @greg?
Yes, once about 3 years ago, lost a lot of gear
Could you leave a link to what you have for a open cast real

no worries. no, they dont so i have it tethered. They are good and I will bet in 1 year 99% of tournaments will only accept this board.
Why do you use left and right hand reels why not just left or just right ?
doesn't matter to me, grew up using both sides
But wouldn’t you feel more confident using one side only rather than two ?
Nice... hey what type of kayak is that?
