To answer the Girl Scout incentive question: basically before each cookie season they would hand out magazines of stuff that any girl at that age would want (I don't know if its like this now) and the prices would be x amount of boxes sold plus each group would usually have a trip planned if x amount of money was raised so yeah we were hustling outside of Home Depot at 8am on a Saturday

Christian is the umbrella. When someone says “I’m Christian” that can mean anything. Catholic is Christian. Catholic, Mormon, protestant, Jehovah’s Witness, Baptist, born again, Southern Baptist… those are all Christian religions. Christian just means “believe in Christ”.
Think of it like how all teams in the NFL are football teams, but each team is different 😂. There’s no difference between Christian and Catholic because Catholic is Christian.
The way that Catholic is different from other christian religions though is mostly just in traditions because it’s the oldest. When you think of just like southern, strict religious people, you’re usually thinking of Baptists. And then the main difference is just that there’s like a little rules about the priests and pastors and stuff like that, & what rituals you do etc, but the beliefs themselves are pretty much the same across-the-board. Except for Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons who believe in Jesus but otherwise went rogue. 😂
Also… NOEL PHILIPPINO CONFIRMED. People from the Philippines are Catholic! I never knew his family was Catholic. It’s official.

The hotel I used to work at hosted many large groups for various reasons. One time, we had a group of Christians stay for a week. During one of their events, they snuck away and went to the hotel pool (where there were other guests and kids playing). They then proceeded to walk into the pool, fully clothed, and started baptizing each member. We kicked them out of the pool and they got pissed.
When they left, instead of leaving a tip for the housekeepers, they left pamphlets for all the staff telling us to find Jesus
It's truly fascinating to see the things that religion does to the brain.

All the money from Girl Scout cookies get inverted into this type of “cookie coin”. However much you sell goes towards your account where you can go into a gift shop with a bunch of Girl Scout merch, fidgets, journals, stuffed animals, etc. and if you got up to 1,000 boxes sold you could go to wolf lodge! The shitty part is that when you calculate the amount of money per “cookie coin” we were getting about a third the profit -if not less.
