MoL - Mother of Learning by Domagoj Kurmaic was monetized by charging patrons upon release of a new chapter (usually once a month), there was no deal with Amazon before it was finished and it even stays for free on RR after it is on KU.
It was and objectively still is the best way for everyone involved.
It is I believe not possible for Maxime because of his ambitions to create his own brand of multiverse media.
As a former patron of Max I now appreciate how Domagoj Kurmaic, Ruffwriter, Mecanimus, Erratic Errata and others treat their own stories and fans/patrons.
SO WHAT IF YOU PUBLISH THREE CHAPTERS EVERY WEEK IF THE WHOLE READING EXPERIENCE SUFFERS FROM SALAMI READING, QUALITY DROPS, AND YOU AS AN AUTHOR GET BURNED OUT?!!!

      Hi Youghurt,
While we appreciate your engagement and you are clearly a passionate and knowledgeable patron of web fictions, please remember that every author has different needs and goals and work very hard to both communicate with and give back to the fans that have enabled them to make a living - however lucrative or not - from a craft that they love.
Nobody who makes it as a writer treats it as just a job, after all.

      @@fictopia3487 that's a very polite answer.
      Huh

Nobody treats it as a job....
I would love nothing more than to agree however certain burned out or even just straight out cynical authors that milk every chapter with no passion in their writing exist.

Maxime is pumping those fictions out like Ford model T however their quality is dropping as well.

Kairos is the prime example of it.
Also it's worth mentioning it was written during the heavy COVID.

      Did you liked perfect run

@@GRINDSETRN I liked it until the source of powers was revealed.
That's the part where Romano(?) makes friends with everybody (including his own power and the big power) and it becomes very anime-ish.

@@youngyoughurt yes but i don't have problem with it being animeish. It was like that from the very start but still enjoyed it very much

@@GRINDSETRN I like anime that's well written and I hate anime like Fairy Tail that's constantly using hyperboles to make every new threat seen as more powerful and the only reason why mc wins is becauss of love and friendship

But his face and name were used on the advertising for this. Some people on reddit were saying he's basically a shady character so it sounds to me like he doesn't want a record of whatever he said.

Hi Pax. We would like to note that we hold both the character and professional aptitude of all the panelists, who generously gave their time to speak freely with the attendees, in high esteem.
