Best WS lineup sinse the Syke days, to bad it didn’t last. Doug’s blues oriented playing style was aa perfect fit for the band and Dave’s singing. Glad to still see Reb in the band though.

Great song great band. I've seen Mr Coverdale quite a few times first time with Deep Purple in 74 on the Burn tour. Phenomenal front man who has consistently surrounds himself with great players. This is my favorite lineup since the Campbell Sarzo lineup.

Insulted the guitarist John James Sykes the person who played on and Co wrote the Album 1987,Not Vandenberg not Campbell but JOHN JAMES SYKES. before the recording of 87 album these got on great but didn't but was because David Coverdale
Lied in media about him got the producer Keith Olsen to lie for him well he was gonna do anyway because Geffan records was involved. Ten years went by the insults in the rock mags continued by Coverdale and everywhere else people would listen he lies then the media believe him, always insulting another person's talent. Then he says I chatted to John when I was doing into the light album the chemistry wasn't there anymore, what would you expect when for years the first chance you get you insult that persons talent, then you chat after years of doing that to that person. There not going to be happy are they. John James Sykes is really great guitarist & songwriter. 2yrs David Coverdale said oh think John's doing blue carmine or something. He knows damn well the name of the band BLUE MURDER. He's insulting and there is no need to be like that David Coverdale, is a liar and deceitful SOB

When I first got deep into this incredible band I was hearing impaired. Now with hearing aids I realize that David has always stuck to his blues rock and boogie roots with heavier or more *”hair metal” style riffs. *I am not a big fan of the hair metal label but it is the best description for explaining in this case.
The exception to the rule of how Rock music should be, Whitesnake is that and always delivers with grace. Just listen and smile. I do.
