Too true, yesterday I tried to forcefully stay away from demons for several games, and was destroyed in most, never getting better than 3rd. Than I just decided to force demons before going to bed, and went first beating a jaraxxus 3 times in a roll.
Was very surprised to see him there with health left, poor Jaraxxus, even high rolling demons is not good enough for him

Man, the meta really has shifted. Now the only downside to demons is too many players go demon and starve each other out of mid game.
Making the game better because you have to watch your oponnents if you want to maximize the odds.

Ugh another Tirion video getting my hopes up, and then every video it has Demons :( We need a patch ASAP!
No one used any of the "cool and wacky" battlegrounds cards like bolvar and boggey monster, so they gave them a use and now everyone is upset, lmao, blizzard can't catch a break.
except Tirion doesn't have a high win rate off the back of those "cool and wacky" cards. The best strat with Tirion is still just going boring demons and using the hero power to buff weavers and jugglers and maybe a selfless hero/spawn - and the latter two were already seeing play pre-Tirion in classic Baron builds.
@@etherealg3940 Sure, but we need to tell it to Blizzard that it ISN'T Tirion's fault, because if they nerf him, no one is ever gonna see Bolvar/Boogey Monster and Festerroot Hulk in battlegrounds. They need to nerf the problematic cards themselves, like Wrath Weaver.
@@Bogiukas I think it is, fundamentally, a problem with Tirion. If there's ever a strong strategy that involves neutral cards, he will be the best with it by far, breaking the game. If he's weak enough not to do that, then the best he can do is throw together some basic some trash tier minions and make them slightly less trash, but still bad. He can only be balanced in a game state where *all* neutral stuff is trash, or when he isn't strong enough to break neutral stuff that's already good. Right now he's way too strong to not break things, and not all neutral stuff is trash.
@@driftwisp2797 I can agree as I see your point. Tirion is Jaraxxus but with a 1 gold reduced hero power. To combat that, Jaraxxus buffs demons, one of, if not *the* strongest, most reliable strategy right now, whereas Tirion buffs neutrals, which most are pretty crap with little synergy to one another. The real reason Tirion does well consistently is because neutral cards are, to large extent, not contested. I could agree with "making neutral cards a bit more shit and keeping Tirion's hero power the same", but perhaps it would make sense to remove Baron from the game? It makes many decks very powerful and without Baron procking Selfless Hero, the Divine Shield strat would be a lot less good and perhaps people would go for "turbo till Zapp".
Or they can just release 20 new cards and remove the most played ones and absolutely shake everything up.

I mean, technically, you are not wrong here. The Ashbringer's floating sigil thingy is actually an Orc Warlock's artifact that got pumped with the Light and then reforged into a weapon, so, yeah, there's some demonic influence there...
It's just like the lore says in Warcraft, "With Tirion, you just need a little demonic influence." Pretty sure that's how it goes anyway. XD

Yay! Again I’m ahead of the curve. Been playing wrathweaver and demon build in Tirion since he came out.
Have a 95% winrate with him now and finished 1st or 2nd most of those times.
Still my favourite hero.
First time I played Tirion I went demons and won big time. Got pretty lucky with my rolls and I didn't lose once! :) Constantly buffing is OP :D

Demons need an urgent patch, unlike other builds, demons are more linear than the rest
Also it has same problem with pre nerf murloc
Its low risk high return because it is as ez to build since all you need to do is finding couple tier 1 and tier 3 minions and self harm doesnt matter if you just never lose and avoid face dmg from losing (except when you get 2 greedy and kill yourself)
I'd argue it's too flexible. You can go wratg weaver if you're winning or voidlord soul juggler if you're losing and getting your nathrezim overseer is better than any other buff card.
You were the chosen one, Tirion. It was said you would destroy the demons, not join them! You were to balance the meta, not plunge it into darkness.

I always wait for new Kripp videos, and the greater my disappointment is when I realize it's demons again. I hate demons... In terms of playing with and against. So watching it isn't the best either

Tirion is insane when you get 1/1 divine shield and 2/1 deathrattle guy as first 2 picks, he falls off really quick if you dont hit anything at the start tho

Today i play demons with George, that was insane x) demons are really good with many heroes
The problem with demon George is that he has a weak early game; you really can't afford to lose too much health early as demons. But yeah, if you get lucky he is really strong.
Tirion is just so damn consistent though. If you don't win you're still very likely to end up in top 4.

Can somebody answer a question for me? I was playing battlegrounds and came across a Vancleef that was tier 2 but had a 5 star Mal'ganis, how is that possible?
Shifter Zerus. I think its rank 3 card. Zerus has an effect that every turn (while in hand) transforms into a random card. What prolly happened is: Go rank 2, get a triple, discover a rank 3, get zerus, next turn pick malganis.
Yea from zerus I've got a megasaur at tavern 2 or 3 with 3 murlocs on board and got poisonous
So basically, anyone that gets demons successfully is OP. Got it.
Tirion is the best demon hero though. He just has everything going for him.
Strong early game, which leads to a strong late game with Demons. You rarely take more than 2 dmg early game.
Tendency to stay tier one the first 2-3 rounds hence finding the Wrath Weavers.
The ability to throughout the game buff his minions such as Wrath Weavers, Selfless Hero and Soul Jugglers.

I play Tirion as Wrath Weaver, Floating Watcher, and Crowd Favorite. Then, you play the Nathrezim Overseer to buff those three cards. The other 4 cards are any neutral.

Jaraxxus is pretty underwhelming for two reasons.
The Wrath Weavers doesn't get the buff and it's not that great on Floating Watchers, so it's hard to get much value from it.
It's great though for a Soul Juggler focused demon strategy. But being able to adapt to what you're offered is very important. Sometimes you just don't get the demons making the hero pointless.
Everyone goes demons. No need to title it anymore. Just title the video demongrounds with whichever hero.

I'm so tired of going against demons. Nearly every game I play at least 6 people are attempting demons. Either I keep getting put against the same top two demon players and get 8th or I get put against the "starved" demon players and eventually get second after fighting like 4 100 stat cards

And tbh, floating watcher and wrath weaver make up almost the entire demon build. Soul Juggler is good, but that's not a demon either. Floating Watcher is the only specific demon that the demon build wants to hold on to, so Kripp definitely had the demon build.
