Update on the 66 Mustang project

- Quick update as to why I haven't posted any new content on the Mustang. I live in Crematoria also known as Texas where summers are brutal and never ending. It's been too hot to do any work without getting frustrated and angry due to the heat.
Also because of the heat it looks like I will have to dispose of all my paints and primers and fillers and hardeners as they cannot take these temperatures. So that will be yet another loss to deal with.
I had planned to make a video using that roll of insulation standing next to me to insulate the beams that are along the roof to slow the heat ingress but it's not worth the hassle as it won't be a measurable improvement.

It'll get better, summer isn't all year. We've been in the 80s and 90s in Colorado, today though 55 was the high, this morning. Have a great one Robert.
Our summer ends at the beginning of October. We will still be in the high 90s and hit 100 on late Sept. It starts in mid May... Tomorrow we have a cold front taking us down a little bit back to 103 by Friday. Our low temp is 80... It's usually still in the 90s at 10pm as well...
No envy here.

I am looking into buying a 65 tbird and ibhave looked around the internet for sheet metal and it seems hard to find
Any ideas where I can pick up new tbird sheet metal
They are harder to find sheet metal for. Which was why I didn't buy a 66 bird several years ago. Classicautoparts.com has a little bit of sheet metal. Macs also has some as well. Then there is also classicsheetmetal.com. I don't think there is a great deal of parts made for the t-birds unfortunately.

Yup. Another 1.5 months of 106*ish weather left. Hopefully no more 110*-115*.
@@theinfernalcraftsman I don't think I'll ever complain about the low 90's here in northern Ohio! I've been to Texas - once! and it was the hottest place on earth!! Found your video's via Jo Daddy's - I have a 66 that needs a bunch of work. My son and I are looking to start a channel on our build soon. Keep up the good video's!
