Thanks for sharing the Furitek system. This is the first video that I've seen with it actually running. Great setup overall for it's compact size and performance.
Man i`m already hooked to 1:18 scale. My fingers are itching to order an Mojave Grom and the Furitek combo. My Mini Lmt has a Furitek 5600 KV Kinetic motor and it´s an animal. The Grom is way lighter and i guess even quicker. Had a blast to watch the vid.
Been waiting to see this! Awesome option. This combo will definitely go into my granite and typhon. Was looking at castle Creations options since it can get a typhon to 108mph basically stock.
So, love the format of this video. Typhon grom, if you run a hobby wing or mamba x2 million kv motor folks may want to build a motor support to shore up back end. Otherwise you may snap the shaft.
Amazing video brother!!💯Love how you said everything you were going to do inthe first 30 seconds of the video. its so awesome of you to leave links in the description and explain eveything you used and did as you were doing it. will definitely be coming back to watch some more videos! happy to be a new subscriber man. I know im a bit late but one more thing, will this also fit on the typhoon grom?
@@LilyPadPro777 I really appreciate the sub! Glad the video was what you wanted. I don’t have the Typhon grom but I assume it should fit it also. I think they use the same motor mount setup.
should you have some trees out there, you could then make a trail around them for these types of vehicles... tree changes the landscapes too including some roots and bumps so it adds character and very little work... and would keep you cool with shade! fun looking rig
This is very compelling. I have the Granite and Typhon Groms, and two Mojave Groms in the box waiting to figure out how I will mod them out the gate. Been waiting to see what BL stuff hits that is meant for them.
@@2fmrcI thought you had an Omni Terminator? I absolutely love mine! I got the carbon fiber edition… for $45 more you get a bigger motor, esc, and better gear metal, ect… but I have hade more fun with that car than you can shake a stick at!!
What reciver did you use? I am concern about installing this system to the Granite Grom having no fan and ended up burning the brushless motor. I am ordering for my Mojave and Typhon.
That motor looks to small for the truck, I'd put in a 2840 or 45 and HW 60A. Everyone seem to put in 24XX motors in these Grom's but I've found they run way to hot. I bought two HW quicrun 16BL30 Combo's with 2435-4500kv G3 motors, one for the Granite Grom and one for a Latrax Rally, both run way to hot and nether one has seen a 3S, plus the Mojave is bigger then the Granite and Latrax Rally so I'm not sure how that combo is even holding up. I've ordered a Tenshock TS-X1401-4150kv and I'm think about ordering that HW quicrun 16BL60, I'm going see how this 30A holds up first. How's is the system holding up?
Awesome vid! Perfect system for the Grom.👍 Would be nice to see them make a heat sink for the motor. Especially for us looking to go all out on 3s😬 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Excuse me sir I have a question. What would be a good servo upgrade for it? I'm unsure how to find one, there's so many to choose from. I know I want a nice metal geared high torque model, the spectrum that came with it is shot
@@2fmrc Was considering going BL in one of my Groms with a Spektrum Rx/Tx with AVC. I have seen a lot of your Furitek videos on your crawlers, but was not aware of this upcoming product until your video. @@2fmrc thanks. do you know if furitek has a motor and esc for the losi mini b pro roller? or do you have recommendations on motor choices and esc choices.
Yes, i agree. But it its such a tough rig why wouldnt you spend the extra $$? If its only in your budget to buy a stock grom, consider yourself blessed because stock they are badass. Over built from factory. Makes me twitch
I get that you want more “Punch” but I just threw in my Mojave Grom a Hobbywing set and that only ran me $60 for both the ESC and motor and I’m getting 51-53mph with fans on both motor and ESC with no problem. Why would I spend the same amount of money that I spent on the truck on an ESC & Motor? Don’t get me wrong I do like “Furytek” but if I can save a $100.00 dollars then why not?
