I do love the video. I am more interested in troubleshooting this extension though. For example, how do I delete the cladding and start over or what if it covers windows, how do I edit it?

The Instant Road extension is about the most frustrating extension I've ever used. I have never been able to get it to work. I've place the road in a separate group or in the same group and get the same error message: No Terrain Mesh selected for Grading! If in doubt, try exploding your terrain.

Never ever said the extension was free - I said that I have a guide of the best extensions for architecture that you can download for free. Many of those extensions are free, many are paid
I started using sketchup when it was first released to the public, and made many computer component models that are still in the 3D library. That being said, I stopped using it when Google took it over, as they begun to charge. Now they want $199 per year for their product which is just ridiculous for the hobby user like myself. Granted this new platform is insanely powered. My question is, is there any independent contractor work for sketchup modeling and designing? The time and money needed to become a sketchup expert is a lot, and I am not sure if there is enough work out there for sketchup versus Autodesk platforms? Any help would be appreciated.
You got your history backwards, SketchUp was always a paid product; in fact, the free version was first introduced only after Google acquired them. And they still have a free version--if you're a hobby user, then just use that. $199 a year for a professional 3D application is not ridiculous at all.
This is a confusing comment to me - Google released the free version to begin with, and yes, there is independent contractor work for SketchUp...I think a better question is what programs would you look at as an alternative that are less "ridiculously priced?" Especially since there's still a free online version

I guess 199 isnt to bad, gonna research alternatives to sketch up and compare prices. What other 3d application do you use, or think offers the same options as sketchup?

It's literally ON THE SCREEN at 1:52. Or do you mean the flat road? Because I used SketchUp's arc tools to draw that - you don't NEED a plugin for that

Hello, You didn't talk about instant terrain.What about it?
