Be still my heart!!! ❤️ Laura I just can’t thank you enough for sharing such beauty and inspiration with us!! I have watched both parts of your tour about 5 times! 🤗 It is all just GLORIOUS! You have such a way with your garden space - beautiful vignettes tucked in everywhere! 🪴🌺🌿 Venus is a showstopper!!! 🙌🏻 You make me feel like I can do this with my humble garden, and I always learn something new from watching your videos! This past year has been so difficult and you have been there to lift us up with your “Italian talking hands, ” 😂 your upbeat music, humor, wit, and gardening enthusiasm! You are a gift to us all! Thank you again! 💕
Laura, I was watching for a video from you and then, darn it you showed the pagoda dogwood and then you did a long shot of your gravel garden and then you showed the britten rose and then you showed the native wisteria, all zone 4 - i'm in heaven. So many ideas for my zone 5 Ontario, Canada garden, thankyou. I see influences of Laura from Garden Answer, Erin from The Impatient Gardener & Linda Vater with the topiary. Excellent video, THANKYOU!
Not only are your garden rooms beautiful, structured but in a comfortable kind of way, I love how you add humour to your “non-expectations”. It makes us all realize that we should celebrate even the small things that grow and give us joy! 👏❤️🇨🇦
I have nicotiana that I started in winter sowing last year. It performed in a very limited manner last summer. It overwintered and stayed green all winter. This spring it is glorious. It perfumes the evening air. The blooms are wilted and sad by day but at sunset....oh my! They cone alive. This year I am planting the lime green variety. I can’t imagine liking it any better,
Laura, you are amazing with all you accomplish. Your gardens are so lovely, especially this time of year with your Dogwood so full of blooms. I know you will enjoy filling up those new beds and we can't wait to see.
Oh that Dogwood tree is gorgeous, never saw one like that before, absolutely stunning. You’ve been very busy getting that second bed planted with boxwood , many beautiful things growing in your gardens, thank you 🙏 for the tour
Hi Laura! Your garden looks beautiful! I love all the roses on the arbors! Because I am of Italian decent I understand those Italian hands!! I was born and raised in beautiful New Jersey...I grew up in Mercer County and lived in Mansfield Twp. Burlington Co. for about 18 yrs before moving to Florida about a year ago. I know you might find this hard to believe.....I miss my New Jersey garden!! Florida is beautiful but there is nothing like gardening in New Jersey. I so enjoy watching your videos.....they take me home. Have a great day! Hugs! :)
Everything is so beautiful and cohesive. I always get some ideas when I see your garden. The flowers and foliage are a nice contrast to the white fence. Love from sunny Sydney, Australia.
Oh I love seeing how much your garden has evolved it’s just so beautiful and really inspiring. Can’t wait for part 2 and your greenhouse to be built. Btw I totally relate to Italian hands hehe it’s how we talk. 🌸🌿🌳
Bahaha ... Laura, those Talking Hands come in all nationalities, trust me on this! Your garden is beautiful! I'm looking forward to seeing Part 2 tomorrow. Your Venus Dogwood tree is gorgeous! Thank you for including the hardiness zones for this tree. I added it to my garden must-have list. ~Margie
Absolutely beautiful gardens! You’ve done amazing planning and work. This is my second video viewing on your channel. I’m subscribing. I love your narration and the details you share. Thank you for sharing
Laura, beautiful garden as always! I also have to say that the video resolution is amazing! I feel like I was seeing everything in person 🤩 BTW that is a masquito crane fly which mainly feeds on flower nectar and occasionally mosquito larvae 😊
Laura, I always enjoy your garden tours. What an evolution from this time last year. I love all the changes you have made, and that URN 🥰! I have all the feels for that beauty . I was just telling Garden Queen that I want to add one to my garden ❤️. Everything looks lovely.
Your garden looks wonderful Laura! I know how you feel about getting apples, I finally have blossoms on my trees this year yay! I have to tell you that Zepherine Drouhin is hardy to zone 5, I have 2 and they're budding up and I'm so excited to see them bloom this year, they're 3 years in the ground now and I've only had a couple of rose's so far!
Wowww what a gorgeous garden with so many cool things going! Thank you for the lovely video! The dogwood is stunning too! May I know how old is the dogwood tree? How many years to get to this mature size? Thank you!
Do you allow the dahlias to stay in the ground in zone 7A or do you have to dig out like Laura from Garden Answer. I love the way both of you ladies dahlias look but I tend to stay away from plants that requires that maintenance of digging out, storing and replanting. Your garden is beautiful 🌸🥰
I love my blue moon wisteria and as soon as I finished Erin's winter snow poppy sowing video I went straight out and threw my seed on the snow. Not all took but I do have some coming up in several areas. So excited! Where did you get the cute frill-edged terra cotta pots?
So beautiful. I found you through Linda Vater's channel and have loved watching your videos. Where you do buy your wire cloches? I have rabbits that are eating some of my plants. Thank you!
Your garden is gorgeous. 😍 I love how you have the basket accents throughout. Do you bring in your planters in Winter, or do they hold up through the cold??
Hi Laura, Iv’e been watching your youtube chanel and love it! I recently bought a star Jasmine plant because my husband and I love the scent it gives off, so I got to thinking with all of the gardening I have watched you do, do you have any Jasmine in your garden, and I was also wondering besides the beauty you create is there any fregrance that you get to enjoy amongst all your creations?
Hello, I'm new to your channel. Your tour was so lovely. Can you tell me about your lil water fountain (bird), your lil white fencing, cables used as trellis and baskets. Lastly, how do you train your Wisteria (sorry sooo many questions) Thank you!
Love the Venus Dogwood. Your's is so big....mine is still a baby; season 2. Tell Marc I need to have him build an obelisk for me too....LOL Looking absolutely gorgeous. Where are you getting your sea thrift? I have white and like the blue you have.
Oh Laura now I really want a Venus dogwood, it’s simply gorgeous. Your vegetable garden is so lovely, you must be so pleased you decided to convert that area. The sprinters look adorable. And the new entrance looks great and the espaliers are doing so well. I would widen the left hand side to match the size of the right side, but I have OCD 🤣🤣 an urn will look wonderful. All the white woodwork and trellis etc is amazing. I get your excitement with the baby apples. “Who would have expected apples from an apple tree?” 😊 wow huge mosquito 🦟 will check out Katy at the Manor, thanks for the recommendation.
I’ve heard you don’t have to blow out drip line. The water seeps out and doesn’t allow the hose to expand and crack. Underground irrigation is different.
This is underground. I removed our rainbird pop up sprinkler heads in most areas and I converted to drip, but still have a few pop ups. And then in the veggie garden I ran all new drip just from the faucet. No maintenance or blow out needed there, just bleed out the water end of the season.
excellent garden tours as always. would you mind providing the link to your white outdoor bench, your new entry gate with the trellis, including the trellis on the house with the roses, the arbor, and did you purchase your sprinter boxwood on line or with a local nursery
If you look at the description you can see Proven Winners shrubs is a partner/affiliate. So I think Proven Winners provided her the shrubs for free. I think she mentioned that in a previous video when she planted them in the front yard.
Hi! The bench is from Plow & Hearth. The arbors, trellis, and gate, all from Lowe’s ordered online and it was delivered and we put together and installed. The sprinters are quarts that Proven Winners has available on their web site. 💜
They are the quart sizes. The Proven Winners website carries them and they’re also available at a ton of different online and local garden centers! I wish I had a way to say which ones exactly, please check your local nurseries. www.provenwinners.com/plants/buxus/sprinter-boxwood-buxus-microphylla
Your sweet little dog should be a great weapon against trespassing rabbits & cats. I will say that my new cat has kept ALL bunnies out of my garden and I now have blooms again.
Thank you!! They are the quart sizes. The Proven Winners website carries them and they’re also available at a ton of different online and local garden centers! Noticed that you use a basket to grow a fig tree. I love that idea. May I ask that how you fill soil into? Is there a plastic pot first inside or just soil?
Ahhhh!!! This is a faux basket! It looks so real! It’s by MPG and you can find them on the Home Depot website. It’s so nice. I did drill drainage holes.
Be still my heart!!! ❤️ Laura I just can’t thank you enough for sharing such beauty and inspiration with us!! I have watched both parts of your tour about 5 times! 🤗 It is all just GLORIOUS!
