In case you’re wondering why I run water through the winterizing hose, then switch to fresh tank... that gets any antifreeze out of the hose near the pump.
Just used these steps to dewinterize my 2800bh! New to travel trailering so we are readying the ship for our maiden voyage.

I watched four videos this morning on how to dewinterize. This was the best video. One step that I think might be missing is the installing of the anode tube. One technician put tape and included the 1 and 16th in socket to tighten it. But much appreciated for all the effort putting the video together. Very helpful

Good stuff, we have a 2670MK. We've been using it for four years, I was looking for Grand design specific tips. I watch the videos to make sure I still got it all before we set out on a trip. So far, we haven't had a single problem on a camping trip.

Hey old friend, good to hear from you again!
Very clear video. We live in So Cal so no need to winterize. However when we purchased our 2500RL in 2018 it said it was winterized. We ran water and never actually saw any antifreeze coming out. The problem we had, and still have at a min level, is the taste of the water. Regardless of running off of city water or out of fresh water tank there is a metallic taste. When we first used the trailer the taste was so bad you couldn't stand it. Now after a few years it is barely there but it is still there. We primarily use the fresh water tank and city water for everything except drinking as we use bottle water for that but would still like to figure out what's wrong. I've spoken with Grand Design and others and no one has any ideas. We have sanitized the fresh water tank. If you have any idea please let me know otherwise thank you for this video.

Very thorough and well planned. You were the first to show where to and how access the stuff under the drawer. My water heater is different than the one you showed. How do i get water into the water tank? That’s the part I don’t understand. What about checking tire pressure? I’ll subscribe to your site.
water will go into the heater from a cold line automatically as you introduce water into the plumbing.
following your excellent video, we heard the water flowing to the water heater. not as scary as we thought. we have a 2022. Levers on the drawers are a little different: left lever pull up. Right lever push down. It took a while to figure that out. It took us a couple hours but it was our first time ever to de-winterize any thing. Thanks again

Thanks for the annual use video. Why is your pressure (with pump) so much better than mine? I've got a 2018 GD 2800BH that's very similar. Same front half, but my stock Power Max pump is about half of your pressure. Is there a pump upgrade that would make a difference?
There’s upgrades but I’m still on my stock pump. Love the pressure I got, in fact I always use the tank even at full hookups.
Awesome video! Upon hooking up to water and clearing out my lines...water is shooting non stop out of my outdoor water valve near the convenience station at the back of the Imagine. How do I replace it?

I noticed that one of your initial steps is to open the fresh water drain under the RV, but never mention when you return to close the valve. May seem obvious to more experienced RVers, but can you clarify for a newbie?
Thanks for the heads up Sean. step 13 (06:24) is when you should be closing that valve since you are filling up your fresh tank. make sense? an updated dewinterizing video coming out in a week or so.

Why tell people to open the low point drains after you tell them to fill the fresh tank?!
to clear them out. they dont drain the fresh water tank, just the pressurized lines.
Hey Brother. I hope that you're doing well. I have the same trailer (2018) and I am de-winterizing it and I don't have any pressure to my kitchen faucet. The bathroom is fine and has plenty of pressure. It was ok draining the antifreeze then the flow is virtually nil. I have reversed everything by turning the valve under the stove and put a bucket of water to run through the lines. The bathroom works fine but still no pressure to the kitchen faucet. Any ideas of what to look for? Any help from the UA-cam community would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you running off pump water from the tank or city water connection?

Does your water pump turn on when you open the faucet? If not it almost sounds like your faucet valve is not working. It could also be a leak somewhere between your sink faucet and where that line connects to the rest of the water system. If that was the case you should be able to find a water leak or hear your water pump randomly turning on.
