Mind-effin-blowing! It's quite perfect because it's not just about to get the sound of the Black Album, but also get the feeling of the song if it was composed for the album. This is nothing but a jewel.
I think the best part of this reimagining is the lack of James' solo and harmonized arpeggios during the interlude. Black Album era 'tallica definitely wouldn't have had that long a melodic break in the middle of a song. While it's personally my favorite part of the original, I think taking out is an accurate choice. To that end, I think you could've cut even more! There isn't a song on the Black Album that is longer than 7 minutes. Most of the songs fall within 4 to 5.5 minutes, so you definitely could've gotten away with more. Maybe cutting the 3rd verse in half or cutting it entirely and going right into the last PCH and CH. Either way, really great job. Production was really great, and you made some really subtle changes in the riffs that added that sense of reframing the song, particular in the verse and prechorus riffs.

Ok. This was AWESOME. I’ve been seeing this in my suggested videos for a bit and skipped over it thinking itd be some daft rendition of what someone played themselves. Wow was I wrong. This is spot on right down to the James Hetfield “yeeaauh” at the beginning, which we didnt hear him do til after the Black Album era, as well as allowing the power chords to ring out more instead of the constant down strokes which is signature of Hetfields guitar work through AJFA. This was a really fun listen. Thanks for making this.
