I've had it since 16 or 17. I 100% love it. Now Ford copied them and came out with their own version for the dealers 😂
I've been having issues with my 2019 Ford Expedition adaptive transmission for the last several weeks and have been looking for a solution. I've tried a bunch of suggestions found online but nothing was working. I found this video really helpful. I ordered an ODB2 bluetooth adapter that works with Forscan Lite. The adaptive transmission reset process took less than 2 minutes and everything is running smoothly again.
Forscan for the win. I always say if you own a Ford you better have Forscan.

The 'newer' iPhone should be able to use the Bluetooth adapter just fine -- check if your device can use Bluetooth before buying an adapter

Hum when I do a search on Google Play all that comes up is FordSys Scan Lite. Thanks anyways, I have it on my Laptop and both the BAXF Bluetooth and WiFi versions of the OBDII interface modules. The mobile version of my videos need updated. They have changed it since the Russian sanctions went into effect. Now it has to be downloaded from Forscan and paid for on their website.
@@CPsGarage Thanks I have the FORScan and their ELM136 USB cable, but I haven't tried doing anything with it yet. I used to have TorqueLite but I deleted it because it was about useless except for RPM and MPH. Do You have any recommendations for something relevant to use to day? Thanks Best Wishes & Blessings. No sir you need the computer version. Which I also have a video on how to set that up.
I'll use mine to watch long term fuel trim and short term, both banks with catalytic converters temperatures.
It does work great to monitor Pids. We use it in long road trips in my 97 and the wife's hybrid

Manual transmissions trucks have the ECT.
Not all. Mine doesn't and it's a manual.
The 2001 and newer 7.3s with the manual trans should be able to read the coolant temp. That’s when they put the second sensor in the passenger side head and increased the rating on the engine for the manual trans trucks to 275/525.
So can you get it on Android tablet? I can't get it to download right from the site itself is Fordsys pro scan the same on Google Play?
Yes you can get Forscan lite on the tablet. You will have to download the app from Forscans website now since Google doesn't allow them to sell it on the play store.

Guy, it is possible to enable a Cruise control on a fiesta 2017 mk8 with this app ?
I would think so if you use the computer version. The phone version would not. I'd Google 2017 fiesta spreadsheet and see if there is one for it. May also be able to turn it on under the programmable features.

How to configure connection in Forscan Lite via usb cable? I have a vgate vlinker FSUSB interface and I connected an otg usb cable with an OPPO A5 smartphone, I turned on the otg options but forscan lite does not want to connect to the car
Did you set comm type to USB in settings??? I don't have a wired adapter to try.

it doesn't work, I tried with different settings of the forscan lite program, I used 3 different phones, the phones do not detect the interface as a device connected via usb, the interface is functional because on a laptop with forscan it connects perfectly with the car

No. Programming is not available on the phone. I wish it it.

I don't know for sure. I don't have any thing new enough

That's a good question. I haven't hooked up to a ranger yet. I'd have to asked bearded Ford Tech. He has a ranger we could test on.

I am using this adaptor: Viecar Bluetooth v4.0 OBD2 which is Elm327 compatible but I can not connect to forscan lite.
Any ideas?

Check your settings in the app and make sure the adapter has been connected to your Bluetooth. If your running a iPhone wifi adapters is the only way to go from what I here.

I have chosen the adapter and set the connection type as Bluetooth 0(tried 1, 2 also)
But it doesnt connect.
It is an issue with forscan only. The adapter works with other code scanning apps, so I wonder if there is any trick with forscan.
@@makululaj86 Forscan has a very specific list they recommend. I find using them will give you the best results.
I made my only key fob a my key. So now I have restricted the speed radio volume. Can you fix that with this app?
You'll need another key and Forscan on the computer to get rid of the my key key

Cant beat the idle of the 7.3L
Must not have heard a 6.7 powerstroke with pre injection turned off. That's a beautiful sound.

I get a " Unable to initialize application" when I open it on my Android phone? Any solutions?
What download did you use? The i.e for google play or the other one? If you are downloading for the first time the Google play download is not the correct one.

It use to have a free version. I'm assuming the new way of getting it requires you to pay. It's personally 100% worth buying
