They are both really cool! I do love the experiment with the clear pillow.. very different and I love the 'floating' aspect to it. I would love to see this on a bigger cradleboard!! Great experiment, great blooms!! 🎉
Awesome pieces Nate! Personally, I prefer the 2nd one because of the wood. I don't know....maybe bring both, give away one and the other one can live in NC with me. Just saying....lol
Nate, I love them both! But, one of my favorite types of pieces to do use a transparent base coat. Usually I spray paint the background, but now I will have to try with Cradle wood!
Small canvases/substrates are so hard! Isn't that funny, because when I started, I was scared to death to even do a 16x20! Hahaha....when the music started with the whistle, I thought you were whistling before you blew...ROFL...I'm an idiot. I LOVE the second one miles better....the first one is nice, but the second one is so unique, and I love the colors on the maple. So yeah, it's the second one for me! Now, get your caboose back where it belongs. LOL. 😊
Both of course are beautiful and dynamic. Love, love love the first one with the periwinkle prominent. The design is so light and airy as well as delicate. This painting absolutely glows. I'm seeing this video a couple months late I think, so I'd be curious which one you chose to take. Anyone would love either one as those colors are just over the top fantastic, joyful and saturated.😊
I agree that they each hold incredible beauty. So my choice is really just a personal one, and that is the uniqueness of the one on the wood. I have a childhood connection with woodworking, so it's beauty reminds me of being a child happily watching Grampa Bob create stuff with wood.
Oh wauw Nate, they are both gorgeous, I think the lacing and composition in the first one is amazing. And the second one with the transparent base is amazing, and they both have the 3D effect. Love them both, and I'm not a big help in choosing I know, whichever one you choose, the winner will be loving their price. 😍
Both bloom blowouts are awesome. My favorite is the second one with the translucent base. Many thanks for sharing your always excellent and definitely instructive making of video Nate👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️🙂
Im soooooo EXCITED I won this piece 🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️👏👏👏😜😜😜😍😍😍 & I got to see how it was created & the JOY that went in to it... absolutely LOOOOOOVE it!!!!!!!!! 👌👌👌😁😁😁🥰🥰🥰❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🦄🦄🦄
I was wondering what happened to you this afternoon why you weren’t on the train. I like the first one because it’s a lilac base but the second one has a better blowout. I said give them both lol. I was wondering, can you explore more on using the pouring medium as a basecoat for other forms of pours? I was also wondering if you did a piece of art then when its dry poured pouring medium on it and did a swipe with Ozzie Floetrol would you be able to see the poor you did before you swiped if that makes sense, thanks again for beautiful art
I like the transparent base coat.🩷💜💛 I don't mind the transparency of the paint on the bloom to show the wood. The composition looks more solid than the first painting. Nate, periwinkle is my favorite color of crayon but i don't care for it as the base coat for the bloom. Had you used the periwinkle color as part of the flower bloom, i may have enjoyed it better... It's only my opinion. What matters is that you like it. Thanks for asking us our opinions.

Both are great but I love the wood grain one the best it’s really sweet
Awesome pieces Nate! Personally, I prefer the 2nd one because of the wood. I don't know....maybe bring both, give away one and the other one can live in NC with me. Just saying....lol
Well I love both, but I like the second one best.😊
The 2nd one ❤
I like the lilac background. If you had blown on it as you blew on the second one it would’ve been a masterpiece
Thanks Annette! Yes I got a little excited on that first puff. LOL
Give them away as a set! Love them both! Good job Nate!

Both are gorgeous. However I'd go for the transparent background 😊

Beautiful blooms Nate! I love them as a pair! They are meant to be together ❤

I’m not much help Nate because they’re both beautiful❤ I do like the color palette of the first one the best. The violet background is gorgeous.
They both turned out beautiful, but my first preference would be Lilac,Nate😍😍💜💜

They are both beautiful!✨ However, I'm loving the second one (wood) Also, the lilac base with those colors is amazing!
Transparent, but both are pretty! 🎉
Second one!,
They are both awesome but my fav is the lilac based.
Gorgeous 😍, lilac basecoat is my winner. Hard decision for sure
Awesome work on both!!
C est vraiment magnifique 😍😍
The second one
Ooo, the second one, in my eye I see a peacock tail, if you could put a lil body in the center, oh baby! Ha! But that's my eye, you have your own, lol
Ketchup ❤Peculating PERIWINKLE👁️🐋 SAN FRANCISCO BAY !
Just a thought- why take not take both and let winner choose?

Geesh how can you choose?
1st one!!!+
i really like the first one
