My favorite is when she takes a character who has extremely stylized, rubberhose-like anatomy and for SOME REASON gives them semi-realistical arms. Like look at Buzby/Fucked-Up-Sylvester and tell me ... why does he have elbows ...? Why does he have visible brachioradalis muscles ...? He's a LOONEY TUNE they don't have like ... any musculature or joints or definition to their arms at ALL, so why does THIS ONE!? Especially when the stylized anatomy is in many ways EASIER than what Julia is doing. It kills me every time when she gives these tube limbed characters arm definition for no reason at all that I can tell, lmao.
@vlinderfin EXACTLY HAHA! It's actually really amazing, because she's just such a good artist that she literally can't NOT give realistic proportions to every character and turn them into handsome mans lol
I think part of it is that we know Julia had incredibly skill but everytime she does one of these she forgets all of it and just resorts to the same drawing again and again

While I can't say that Julia's Roger Rabbit really looks anything like him, the level of relief I felt when it became clear he wasn't meant to be an attempt at Bugs Bunny was EUPHORIC and at that point I was basically willing to accept anything.
apparently youtubes rolled out a feature to highlight search terms in comments and it tried to apply it to this comment, but not very well as it thought "While I can" was a search term worth highlighting. and not a normal turn of phrase being cut off at the apostrophe
You guys should have an episode where it's like this one, except Julia has to describe every character from memory and how to draw it while the rest of crew tries to guess by sketching it out. So kind of like a police sketch but with characters.
My favorite thing about Julia from memory is that it's very illustrative of how she remembers characters: she gets a few big touchstones (Roger is a rabbit, has big overalls and wacky hair) and all the other details kind of go by the wayside (he has a face I guess?). 😊
It took me a while to realize jacob said Sylfester when they said demon name I thought they said sylph Esther and was confused why it wasn't a fae creature
You can come to my farm- I live in Nebraska. We can look at hay bails, think about hay, look at cows, ponder cows, we can run wildly through a corn field and get lost for eternity. I’ll even let you drive a tractor
And as to why the hay isn't where it needs to be and gotta be shifted all the time... Why don't you keep all your cereal in a bowl, at the table, in your spot?
As a Kentuckian who grew up on a horse farm, I can confirm that we pick up hay and put it other places. Reasons include but are not limited to: Letting it breathe, Feeding it to the horses, First in First out redistribution, and for the heck of it.
As someone who grew up on a not-a-horse farm, other reason to move hay around include: turning bales into stairs because the ladder to the mow is broken, giving it to cattle, and selling it to horse farms
karina really does have a talent for making hot characters. and julia has a talent for getting existing characters incredibly wrong. and this is a beautiful example of their talents working together gloriously.

I remember Sylvester Jr. nearly as well as Sylvester himself. There was one short where Sylvester keeps unsuccessfully trying to teach his son how to catch a mouse, to which Jr. keeps saying, in a very ashamed voice, "my own father, can't even catch a mouse!".
25:44 farmers are always moving hay because they buy it in bulk and have to store it somewhere out of reach of the animals that eat it until it's time to give it to them and then it's usually given to them small amounts at a time unless they buy the really big hay bales that have to be moved by tractor in which case they will put the whole thing in a type of stand that the animals can eat directly out of whenever they want
I want to see you each draw your interpretation of the "2 Million Creep", because it sounds like a cryptid dude your mother or grandmother would warn you about.
12:52 “I got his circular nose. His big ears.” Reference Photo: *displaying Sylvester’s very very short ears and his huge furry muzzle that Julia seems to have mixed up as ears in her mind’s eye*
That's what I said! She mixed up the cheeks and the ears, that's probably why she thought he was a Maine Coon too, she remembered fluffy ears and just extended that to the rest of him. I mean she was super wrong of course, but with how outlandish her memory drawings can be it's nice to be able to understand where she went wrong, lmao.
Holy shit this is my suggestion! That is my face on a Drawfee video! Thank you for stopping them from silencing me, Jacob! EDIT: also cracked up at “I broke him too soon, he’s British!” because I am in fact British. And even including my favourite animated character Wallace in a cameo! This episode is everything, thank you.
Julia draws 3 characters from memory real quickly. Karina makes one hot, Jacob makes one cartoony, and Nathan makes one’s jablinsky or fursona. Hugh Laurie is also there.
Julia knows what characters look like, because she knows what they don't look like. By subtracting what they don't look like from what they might look like, she hones in on perfection.
Fun fact: "Bunny Chow" actually is a type of food. It's half a bread loaf with the insides removed and replaced with either French fries if you're normal or spicey Durban curry if you're kinda fancy. So it's like a bowl made out of bread that's filled with something tasty. I have no idea if this was the inspiration for the 'Chowder' character called Bunny.
Seeing Julia's original drawing back on screen after a Karina's segment sent me into a fit of uncontrollable, unhinged laughter that left me gasping. Just the look in Julia's Clem's eyes next to Karina's version. Man, it changed me. This was a brilliant idea and perfectly executed. I just love Drawfee so much. Also, I always love it when Karina draws a hot chubby character. Makes me happy.
For once, I DO actually see where the confusion is, though, I THINK. I feel like she just mixed up his big fluffy cheeks and his tiny ears in her memory. Which isn't actually a crazy mistake to make, especially since cat's ears are a pretty iconic part of their appearance usually, and his ears are down in the official art. I think that's also why she thought he was fluffier than he was or that he was a Maine Coon. She was remembering fluffy ears and just kind of extended that to the rest of him. Honestly, those both sound like mistakes anyone could make realistically, though ... maybe not if they had JUST seen the character, and that doesn't explain ... y'know ... the rest of it ... but the ear thing isn't what's worst here ... to me ... I did think it was funny, though, that they edited a picture of Sylvester next to Julia's as she was saying it so you could see for yourself how wrong she was, lol.
Oh my God, that Confident-Nathan-in-Laputa image got me so good 🤣 Now I can't stop thinking of Nathan and Jacob as huge dudes trading haymakers while the crowd goes wild 🎉🎉
This concept is brilliant. It has my two favorite things about Drawfee in it. Karina making everything slutty and Julia slowly going insane, becoming more and more aware as the episode goes on that she really can't draw from memory when it comes to pre-existing characters.
I love how this somehow perfectly turned into Nice Cream Guy and Burgerpants from Undertale. That bunny is 100% Nice Cream Guy and yall didn't even know

I've moved a decent amount of hay onto trailers and into storage. You don't really have to be absolute peak physical condition since it's mostly short transfers between machines. The real hard part is that moving the hay around kicks up a bunch of hay into the air which makes it hard to breathe and when moving it it gets all over you so if you're slightly allergic the tiny hay splinters in you forearms will be incredibly itchy for days. And it makes laundry a nightmare, sometimes I just find hay in my pockets months later.

I love Julia's progression through the "from Memory" challenges. She seemed embarrassed at the beginning that it's hard to remember what characters look like, but she's continued doing it for several videos now and seems a little more comfortable, with more of a "Yeah, lol, I don't remember what they look like completely, but I do recall a couple key features!" I think it's great that she can pick a couple of key features and let's her creativity fill in the blanks for solid characters, whether they are recognizable or not 😊
I can't wait for Jacob to draw characters with references and Nathan to make them goofy
Or Nathan to make them into a rude ape
Or nathan makes characters into dinosaurs and jacob makes them chibi
Nathan draws dinosaurs and rude apes and Jacob creates non binary gijinkas of them
A'hyuck, gawrsh
That can be reversed and still make sense.

I can't believe Julia and Karina made a Tiger and Bunny reboot
the temptation to write fanfic about clam and buxby........ god..... the potential... the horrible potential..........
Two rats...
PLEASE I NEED IT
I love Julia's progression through the "from Memory" challenges. She seemed embarrassed at the beginning that it's hard to remember what characters look like, but she's continued doing it for several videos now and seems a little more comfortable, with more of a "Yeah, lol, I don't remember what they look like completely, but I do recall a couple key features!"
I think it's great that she can pick a couple of key features and let's her creativity fill in the blanks for solid characters, whether they are recognizable or not 😊
This has got to be the best idea yet.
The fact that you used the guy from laputa as Nathan untraumatised is hilarious it fits perfectly
Hell yeah Julia & Karina team up
Karina's critique of "Sylvester" taking a "you just gestured to all of me" turn lmao
Julia's Sylvester looks more like the skunk from over the hedge.
OH. "POP 'IM POP" MEANS "HIT HIM, DAD"
Yall I was trying to figure that out for thirty minutes 💀💀
NEVER CLICKED ON A NOTIFICATION SO FAST
another julia characters from memory episode, this is bound to be fantastic
The contrast between the drawings and the avatars for the thumbnail is incredible
You ever read a title and just know in your heart it’s gonna be a banger?
i think julia accesses visions of characters from a different universe
