Man I hate how jank this game can be, the fighting is a lot of fun but the online sucks balls, I had one player hitting me really far away but I had to step close to him to hit him.

@@nicobenji0248 Well the thing is latency doesn't inherently benefit one player or the other, it just creates different fighting conditions that both players can equally use to their advantage, and knowing how to estimate the latency and how to use it well is a skill. But I'm not defending it though believe me I hate high latency fights getting backstabbed from the front

First half of 1 plus DLC is timeless, second half is trash(and blightown) and online is far and away the worst in the series. 2 has trash areas too but it's 10 times larger with the DLC being straight up fire and excellent online. 3 is overall the best in the series in every aspect but how broken roll chug is in PVP.

Surprising for how janky the rest of the game is compared to the others, pvp on DS2 is the one that works best for me. Otherwise, the other games always feel like this

@Arena Rat only on the Remake, in the original, Grass was OP on PvP because you were able to carry 99 of any grass, you can use them faster than an Estus (meaning that they are harder to punish), some of them fully heal you and cure your status effects at the same time, they can be farmed, and in the OG they were able to be duped. Instead of being a fight about who gets a Backstab first, it was about who runs out of Grass first (meaning that the fights were VERY long) Fortunately, the Remake fixed that, now you can only carry 25 Grass, and the most OP Grass weights a lot and can't be duped, so you can't carry enough to just spam the entire fight.
Yesterday I parried and reposted a player and at the end of animation I was teleport in front of other near player giving he my back (The game turned me 180 degrees) and he backstabbed me!
The one time I ever managed to beat someone online actually had me against someone who tried to gank me while I was spawning in oocile(I was a dark moon blade). I saw him and managed to avoid him. I think I got him to dodge off a cliff maybe I didn’t kill him myself but being spatially aware is his problem not mine.

Look bro i tried invading somebody one time and wound up fighting 3 players at once in the Catacombs. In other words our experiences were pretty similar, haha!
And all it cost was a completely jank ass cobbled together underwhelming single player PvE experience. Thank God DS3 was better than both of these games as a whole.
This game is fun and balamced when you learn the mechanics dude this guys are just two noobs fighting and one of them just happens to know the most basic form of backstabing
@@akemdam9824 Every time I have tried to PVP it is either a backstab fishing bastard, or a Dark Bead one shotting turd. People don't use their own builds, they just Google the best ones and use that. Everyone is the same build so I don't do PVP.
I haven’t played much in dark souls 1, but it sucks that you have to get invaded when trying to play with friends in dark souls 3. I want nothing to do with meta builds or invaders playing victim, I just want to play co-op because it is fun with friends.

Easiest way to fix this is to remove backstabbing in PvP entirely.
