- Another day, another brand-new add-on for Train Sim World 4, and now, Rivet Games have lost a customer in me. All we get in this pack is two liveries for the GE 4/4 ii, one new freight wagon, a new timetable and five scenarios. That's it; no new motive power or anything truly decent (oh, and that'll be $21.99 - NZD or ten pounds, by the way).
I'm tired of the developers (not just Rivet, but Dovetail and Skyhook too) still releasing these lazy cash grabs in the form of payware re-skin packs, and it doesn't help that Arosa Aggregates is far too expensive for what you get. Vote with your wallets people; the laziness and greed from these developers is unacceptable. - Ігри

2:30 Union Workshop are working on a Japanese route for TSW. Given the high quality of their TSC routes, hopefully this will be good!
I wouldn’t be surprised if Rivet or DGT made a TSW4 DLC pack called “Island Of Sodor - Knapford to Maron”…..if the idea got approval by Mattel’s permission.

The FaC wagon was completed as far back as April 2021, a month after the route itself was released.started before Arosa's release on Steam.
Seeing this review makes me wonder should I still get their 385s for the sake of getting a complete collection of all the UK routes and add one currently available for TSW. Not counting the 66 reskins and all.
I think this gameplay pack is perfect for TSW4! It perfectly compliments DTG's latest pathetic cash grab disaster. Quality continues to dwindle and customers go bye bye. Would love to be a fly on the wall when DTG's CEO has to beg Papa Focus for another bailout in a few months. I also love that the number 1 Steam review for SimRail is from some dude that doesn't even play the game and simply states that he bought the game as a middle finger to DTG. Speaking of SimRail, if you have it it could be good content for the channel. It does look far better than TSW4. I guess the downside is that we won't have nearly as many laughs as pointing at the clowns at DTG.

Another great review and another great example of why you shouldn’t buy a Rivet Games product. I remember being so excited for West Cornwall when it was announced and released since it’s one of my favourite bits of track in the UK, only to drive the 150 and it have terrible sounds. That route was absolutely unplayable for me unless I was in Scenario Planner or now using Just Trains’ 142. It makes me glad I never bought Arosa Line, especially after this review of the “gameplay pack”
Shoot it runs perfect for me. The one thing that irks me is the br freight dlc class 08 goes on it and yet the big industry literally has zero cars and I fully expected to have it as a “shunter” in the states we call them switchers

Thank you for your service. This could have been a free update to Arosa, and is certainly not a £10 add-on. Rivet are shameless.
When you said that Rivet posted that they were "excellent developers" (or something like that) on their Facebook page, I honestly thought they were trying to make people laugh. Their steam reviews on addons are really poor (most of the time at least), and their routes / trains don't look good at all. Also, as a quick note for future reviews, can you make a brief look throughout the timetable of the addon you are reviewing? Appreciate it if you can.
Yes, I will try to inspect timetables properly for future reviews. In the case of Arosa Aggregates, there isn't much of a different between the new and previous timetables (just the same passenger services with occasional freight and shunting to the aggregate terminal).

Tbh. I think i stand with dovetail is because im a ps4 user. Btw i have gotten a single rivet map.just got peak forest and somerset on sale . Only reason i got both was the sale. I would not buy either at full price. Btw idea for japan route is a shenkansen. Or a d-51
*Ahem* Meanwhile Simrail just got a brand new FREE update with a new electric multiple unit with multiple liveries, more liveries for existing locomotives, more dispatching posts for multiplayer, improved graphics, and much more. Just saying 🙃
I've heard of that update, and it sounds quite impressive too. If anything, it only goes to show how greedy the TSW devs often are.
I'm still waiting for a full singleplayer mode for simrail before buying it. That means a 24hr timetable like tsw does. Even then content is still limited

The livery on 622 is in fact wrong too. The front of the loco should be orange, same as the kanji on the side and RhB itself has confirmed as much when asked.
Rivet had one job, and they still screwed up. I would have mentioned this basic mistake in the video had I known about it sooner.

I can confirm the devs will literally tell you “stay quiet or don’t play” through the DTG TSW live chat by devs and moderators. All I did was post what’s bugged or wrong with every single route I own and they jumped me for it and after that would only answer people praising the game.
I've never understood why the devs are so insistent on silencing any form of criticism whenever they can. Do they not realise or care about how much that spoils their reputation.
@@DC4260Productions when a dev told me to quite literally “be quiet” in the chats for asking why day one issues still haven’t been fixed that’s when I really thought to myself damn these people couldn’t care less about anything other than money and it feels like whoever makes it doesn’t even like railroading .tbh your the one reviewer that’s fully honest and actually critiques it at the level everybody should honestly I think gamers are too easy to please and accept it as long as it’s the “new” I was playing peninsula corridor earlier, that was the only route I think I had from tsw2020, with loco add ons, it feels completed and sets a standard at the minimum I expected from future routes. But the level of prototypical operations after routes like sand patch, and Peninsula freight both US routes, just have decreased in overall total package quality. As of today they removed all freight and gp38-2 from Boston-providence leaving 30% of the entire layout bare and empty and instead of fixing the route they just push the next (I refused to buy NY-Trenton because they did the same thing they promise freight then the day before say ooohh sorry we’re not, and everybody who bought this makes sure people know don’t buy this whether in forums, UA-cam channels, or comment sections ) and they hide what they didn’t do right and when addressed about it they cower and have the account who I’ve seen in your comments and at least 20 other channels who anyone who says anything other than positive comments and praise he has the most corporate answers and when you reply to him he never responds. They use burner accounts to fight there battles rather than doing one live feed where they admit everything wrong with numerous routes and how they will fix them. Sooooo many routes with day one issues never fixed. But best bet next month a new route at a new higher price will be out and people will foam over the trailer as if the trailers for video games ever match the quality of gameplay especially in the last ten years.
When people ask “why play then?” I feel like that’s missing the point the games so damn close, yet so far from getting it right. The British & German bias, despite me knowing it really is expensive and likely difficult to get liscense from so many other countries, smaller game developers have done it before, and at 99% cheaper for the consumer with new DLC’s being a fraction of what they cost now. When in tsw3 they made damn sure to put pride flags on the ice trains and auto racks but STILL HAVENT FIXED THE BLUE ES44c4’s that are supposed to be UP loco liverys but they made scenario names and liverys for that movement that’s also another head scratcher like “does that really need to be in there?”
Those live streams are no more than fanboy hangouts these days seeing how few people tune in anymore. They're meant to showcase their pathetic pom pom flashing enthusiasm and don't want a potential customer to wander in and discover the complete dumpster fire they've built. Therefore all criticisms are silenced and the questions they do address are heavily sanitized.
Well this is easy for me I only by UK stuff so. Thier only route i own is Cornwall as 150. 150 needs more liveries to run on more routes

I wasn't happy when this was announced and am genuinely losing my patience with the utter shit Rivet have been releasing for this game. I don't play Edinburgh Glasgow and i only play Isle of Wight because i quite like the ex tube trains. Intrigued to see how shit this Edinburgh Glasgow pack will be!
Can't say I blame you; the only good Rivet DLC - in my opinion - is Island Line 2022. As for their E-to-G gameplay pack, I won't touch it with a ten-foot pole.

Ridiculous theres also a livery pack for the 66 coming and there will be services for it on Edinburgh to Glasgow and of course they charge for it £10 something i wont be getting im glad i havent got the Arosa line i have no interest in it at all
I am quite surprised that DTG haven’t cut their relations with Rivet at this rate. Most of their routes are terrible and they keep cutting things. If they aren’t able to cash grab people I am surprised Rivet are still with DTG.
That's something I have never considered; the idea of a 3rd-party developer with such a bad reputation that Dovetail cuts relations. The sad thing is that I doubt it'll ever happen; the devs are clearly too delusional and full of their own arrogance and greed to care about us customers, even though the customer is always right.
There are much worse devs in tsc who still create content
You have no idea how HARD i laughed at Rivet Games claiming to be "Excellent Debelopers", I still remember the fact that Arosa Line was so bad that there was a rumor going around that before release of this SHITE addon, Rivet Games went around and created fake accounts just to say positive things about said Route... nowadays i actually believe thats the case because They just keep on Milking an awful route but oh well... Im not sure who's worse, Rivet Games Or Rockstar Games(And the horrible statel/INCREDIBLY overmilking of GTA Online)
Also one of the liveries uses the wrong red color for the front and back it should be more orange. Nicely done having to do 2 liveries for over 10£ and fucking one up!
I'm just looking at photographs of the real 622, and you're right, the ends do look more orange than red. That's our Rivet, I guess.
I read on the roadmap, that union workshops are developing a route for TSW. Given their history in TS Classic im hoping for a Japanese Route from them, as DTG is probably afraid of diasapoiting tha fanboys by going outside Germany, the UK and the U.S...I've started to lose faith in humanity

I never bought the arosa and this is definitely a cash grab along with the reskin of the class 66 that they will be releasing. There is no reason why this couldn’t be a free update for existing players

I personally would love the Whole RhB system (385 km) to travel
and good scenarios, not like that thought and loveless drive train there and good.
plausible Timetables, switching freight cars out and collect them (yes, that is actually what yer daein on a rail road)
a whole roster Like the Ge 4/4 II , III , the Alegro, the EW 1,2,3 cars
a bunch of freight cars, most 5 different types of the most used RhB cars , like Flat/stake, container, Gas/Fluid tank, box vans the hopper and good.
eventually a DLC for Expanssion on the Roling stock like a Hirstorictrain pack with the 2 existing steam engines G 3/4, G 4/5, the old Ge6/6 I the Ge 2/4
the old passengercars like the open platform 2 and 4 axle cars or the Pullmancars.
And Add pack for ALL the different paint jobs on ALL locomotives
Even if the Base game only contend the circle from Thusis, Reichenau-Tamins, Chur , Landquart, Klosters, Davos ,Filisur and Back over Tiefencastel.
Make road DLC for
,Reichnau-Ilanz-Disentis
,Albula Pass - St. Moritz
,St. Moritz - Tirano
,Bever- Scoul
All connected in one Map
that would be 4 DLC worth more than what they actually "Developd",
which is a wopper pure, calling a 1 to 1 convertion off of TCS development.
what BTW. is a shame the RhB and Google Streeetview put the whole Rail net on the Internet
in 360° Panoramic (no resolution said saddly) but with this asset in this time we live in with UE5,
that Literally can make a Picture into a 3D world, with provided assets (like trees and foilage)
to still make a game that looks like MCS TS on low setting is pure clatty, it's haverin if they say the canny.
The sounds are the next thing look into the guys that make the sound files for Model trains,
they had tae record all the sounds, ye just have tae ask one tae work together for this,
it's allready there they just need tae be packed and converted in the game.
(That is way easier than make a sound file for a decoder).

now, I saw the thumbnail, and tbh, as much as this pack is a total dumpster fire, calling it a scam is a little harsh, a scam is where you don't get anything out of it, where you lose something, with this pack, despite how trash and horrid it is, you do sort of get something out of it, which is a wagon and two liveries
However I do agree that they shouldn't be charging 10 quid for it, however calling it a scam is a bit far fetched
