Idk if that base is like the original Go-Light magnetic bases with the magnets exposed. However, if it is, be sure to take the magnets out and paint them with a rust inhibitor other wise they’ll rust like hell and start rusting the roof!

Also get you some sticky zip tie mounts and zip tie that cord tight to the roof 👌🏻
You may or may not want to put holes in your roof but you could drill a hole and put a rubber grommet in run your wire thru then silicone around the hole real good

With the light you couldn't run ot down yoir window. Under the cab, cut the plug and hardwire it? Worst case wire in a cigarette lighter(with a fuse) off your battery or fuse box

I dropped my wire down the back window in between the bed and cab and ran the wire along the frame on the passenger side and then ran it through a drain plug under my passenger carpet into a cigarette lighter.
I mean I used mine when someone was on my ass lol, or shining fields making sure there ain’t anything on anyone that shouldn’t be there. Also used it a lot helping people on the side of the road…
