You can't. Dunk meter only pops up when using right stick, but you can still get contact dunks using × / □. The right stick allows you to force dunks tho
Dunk meter only shows when you use it to dunk. To dunk and still dribble with the right stick, put the right stick on default.

wanna know something really stupid? i have 99 driving dunk, HOF posterizer and silver limitless takeoff. yet all my defender needs to do is stick out of the paint and boom. my player takes like a layup or something. its honestly so annoying.

Aurzyn do you think that tall guards (6'5-6'9) need int d or block and also strenght, because i have to lower some stats (like 73 lay instead of 80) to have a 70 block (bronze anchor) and 74 strengh (bronze bully) for my 6'8 pg. What do you think?
Probably worth it if you want to stop slashes, my lays is only at 50 and they always go in if I green them, I'm hitting like 50% covered plus on greens

No, you don't need Posterizer to get contact dunk animations but it helps. You don't need to use the dunk meter either but you can force contact dunks if you use it

I went with 80 vertical with 93 dunk I think your fine just get the gym rat

Pro contact dunks off one and two - 84 driving dunk/ 75 vertical off one and 70 vertical off two
Elite contact dunks off one and two- 92 driving dunk/ 80 vertical off two and 82 vertical off one
Small contact dunks - 86 driving dunk/ 85 vert for both
Pro big man contact dunks - 80 standing dunk/65 vert
Elite contact dunks - 90 standing dunk / 75 vert

i don’t think so because my build is 6’3 and i get dunks 24/7 just a lot of the times it does layups instead but i think it depends on your wingspan and heigh when you’re around that 6’1-6’3 range but idk could be wrong

What’s ur speed and speed with ball.
Its probably your speed with ball. You start going decently fast when you start hitting 70. If your slow on defense, its because your speed and acceleration. People will say acceleration doesn’t matter, but I realize if you have that low, your character will kind of “get stuck” sometimes, especially during turnovers
