Honing Vlog 18 November 2024 With Flat Suehiro Stones:

In this video, I go old school and hone my Dovo Sache Red on my flat Suehiro stones and finish on my Ozuku Misu Asagi Japanese natural stone and I also do a quick touch up on my Thiers Issard with my Ozuku.

Cool deal thanks. Oh you can get both of these stones for around $60 dollars give or take. That's both of them. Suehiro stones are extremely good but they don't break the bank.

Thanks Paul. The Japanese Natural stone does for sure but the Suehiro stones are dirt cheap. I got both of them for around $60 US dollars.

Appreciate the vid. I use Suehiro Ouka and Rika in my synth progression before Jnat and I love those stones. They don't take all that long to soak after you've soaked them a few times.

Thanks. Yes but it has been a really long time since I've used them and they took that long to soak. They didn't stop fizzing for 30 minutes.

Thanks Eric. I'll be doing the same style of honing that Jarrod does today with the small acrylic blocks. I also have a wool felt deburring block coming so we will see what happens.
