    I don't take it as bragging. It's a sign of gratitude that the area was spared. Thank you for sharing. It's just so sad for all those who weren't spared and are suffering. My heart goes out to them for it could have been any of us with that hurricane being so big. Many prayers for all those that are in the devastation.

    great to hear. i've keeping an eye on Ocala because next year i will retire and i am planning to move there. hope the hurricanes stay away from there. thanks.

    We live in west Ocala. Had more wind than all hurricanes in the past. Had a giant oak across our entrance and another tree down in front of a rental property as well. $2,050 in tree removal and good to go. Only lot power 4 hours. Usually a week or two. Even though a weaker storm.

      @@dougrogers835 we didn’t lose power at all, but one of the rental properties lost a limb that fell on a roof. Out of 250 doors that we manage, that was the only damage. Compared to Asheville it didn’t feel worth mentioning. I’m glad you came out of it okay and so glad we didn’t get it worse.

    I can buy a house in Ocala and not have to worry about floods..
