    This is the best Ouchi Gari break down video on UA-cam.

    Thank you very much for the teachings, Master! My name is Rodrigo, I'm from Brazil, green belt in judo and purple belt in jiu-jitsu. I always learn a lot from your videos. I hope one day to take a class in person with you. May God keep on blessing you. Big hug!

    Thank you Master Sampson for the breakdown of this beautiful technique! My son after 6 years in BJJ has started to appreciate the finesse of the judo throws. It is one of his favorites.

    You are an excellent instructor, I really like how you break down each throw with details and discuss common mistakes, I'm looking forward to testing out these techniques on the mat tomorrow, thanks! :)

    We was shown this throw yesterday but there was no emphasis on closing the distance. We was told to break the balance by pulling the uke towards us but that didn't make sense to me so the way you're doing it seems much more efficient.

    Excellent demo, as always. This really straightened out some things for me, like the kuzushi hands and entry footwork. Thank you 😊

    12:00 That sweep action into Ouchi Gari is gold. Good way to misdirect them into thinking you're doing a turn throw.

    How about Ouchi but the "tripping" comes from going to the outside of the opponent's leg, and not the inside?

    What if uke does not have his feet parallel? (I’m new in this)

    • @SampsonJudo
      @SampsonJudo  6 днів тому +1

      @@wilbcn take a look at my video on breaking the balance. It will help. If their feet are not parallel, you just change your angle by moving to the left or right so that they become parallel again from your perspective (watch my video on breaking the balance and pay attention to the string analogy)
