I learned so much from this video, thank you for posting! I loved the idea of correcting a white, green and black belt, it shows there's always room for improvement at every level.
That was great insight into the technique from the perspective of different belt levels. Might be worth doing a series with this kind of format for some of the popular techniques in judo.
Osotogari has always been my tokui-waza; that said, I am also a firm believer that in Judo there is no end to continuing improvement. Your videos on the principles of Osotogari and the 3 Levels of Osotogari are valuable tools towards that goal. Thank you!🇵🇭❤️🙏😊
I REALLY love those series. I missed so many of those details when I did judo in my youth. Watching those videos makes me want to pick up judo again at 45. But am worried my body is no longer up for the throws. Thank you 🙏, with much gratitude sensei
This is great for me as I help teach small kids judo. I'm always wondering how to teach techniques better especially osoto gari which is one of the first techniques that are taught.
The thing that really gave away the judoka of thirty years was how he said “sorry” to the intermediate student when he landed on him after the final throw. The spirit of judo is found in mutual welfare and benefit.
