I feel the vibe of the guy on the left. He is having a great time. The production/mix is pretty bad on some songs, but the songs itself are good. This is a really good blink record! People sometimes forget this is blink-182, not some epic rock band that changed the 21st century guitar music. Its just a poppunk band....and this album has good tracks! Turpentine is the best song

I wasn’t hating! Lol I really did dig at least half of this album. Garrett (black tee) didn’t have enough of an open mind because I think he was expecting enema of the state part 2 or something lol but I think this album will grow on him. I know It’s already grown on me!

Otherside is about Mark's bass tech that died last year. The rest of this video is just 4 guys who seem determined to hate every song before they had even begun, especially the Karen in the black t-shirt, jfc he needs some milk.
I’m thinking he probably needed milk too! Cause he ate all my Oreos and how are you gonna eat that many Oreos with no milk?! 🥛 I gonna re-listen to this album with all the things people have told me about Otherside, Childhood, Terrified and Turpentine. I mean some songs are an instant connection and some songs take time to sink in. I remember I didn’t like ‘Neighborhoods’ at first but it really grew on me the more I kept coming back to it, and this Album is way batter than that!

Anthem is phenomenal. Tom brought out his younger Dude Ranch voice. I was grinning from ear to ear. This entire album is great. Do some research on these songs. Fell in love is a tribute to The Cure. Terrified is the unreleased Boxcar racer song. Dance with me is a tribute to the Ramones.. Sorry you all have horrible takes. This album is a 10 outta 10
Anthem is absolutely phenomenal! I actually might be the best one out of the 3 for me too. And this album did have a bunch of great songs, but it was no way a 10/10, even to Blink standards, but I will definitely say this is the most ‘Blink’ album since take off your pants and jacket. Self titled was pretty good but it didn’t have a complete Blink feel, and I enjoyed neighborhoods too but it was just missing something. But this slaps harder than California and nine for sure! 😎
@@EpicDguy they did say that they took everything they learned in their entire career in all of their projects and figured they could do it IN Blink. Have you watched the Zane Lowe interview? It's about an hour long and it's a really good raw interview with Blink throwing it all on the table. I guess I am biased lol. Im probably one of the biggest Blink fans. I love this album not just because Tom is back but because it didn't feel forced. Neighborhoods felt forced when Tom came back the first time where as this one felt natural. They are having fun again as a band and it makes me happy. I've been a fan since Dammit came out and they are the reason I play music and my band exists today. I even loved the Skiba era because I'm a huge Alkaline Trio fan.
I’ll definitely check out that interview, that sounds awesome! Yes this album felt like it was natural for them and I thought Matt did a good job filling in for Tom and I actually really liked California too, but as soon as Anthem pt 3 starts you just get this immediate sense that Tom is back baby! I’m hoping they keep the momentum going and I can’t wait to see how the next couple of albums turn out 😄
The one bad take I got from this is everyone on the same agreement on Tuperntine. From other UA-cam reactions, Reddit, Insta, the fan base in whole is that Turpentine is considered one of or the best song on the album. Was really surprised by the negative reaction from everyone. Now for the “black shirt guy” I don’t where he stands exactly with blink. Like is he a Cheshire/Dude Ranch, Enema/TOYPAJ or Untitled guy? It seems like none of the above. Such a mix bag with every take. Anthem Part 3 is a fan-fucking-tastic opener. It perfectly captures the 99-01 era. Same with Dance With Me. It even has a Ramones kinda vibe with it. Terrified is absolute banger. It was made in mind to be Boxcar Racer song and they absolutely captured that. I’m just gonna assume he doesn’t care for or never listened to BC. That album is a masterpiece. Turn This Off! has that blink humor that everyone loves and it’s that classic short punk rock song. So now I’m questioning does he even like punk music? Dudes a walking L. Although at least he gave You Don’t Know and Bad News a good rating so not all around terrible.
I think this album needs to be judged by Blink standards, not by the most epic songs of all time standards. Of course they aren't changing the world of music, but it's damn good if you're a fan of Blink already. But still, I enjoyed the video. Keep up the good work.

Ok I’ve went back and revisited Blink wave and Dance with me and know I will upgrade those songs to great status, especially Dance with me. The chorus wasn’t my thing at first but it grew on me. I heard a version of the song where they actually did that final chorus for each one and I thought that was better but I get that it’s much catchier and easier to just do the Ole’s! lol and Anthem part 3 is an absolute banger, I don’t know why my friends weren’t feeling that one because i think it actually may be the best Anthem out of the 3!

Ok I can’t hold my tongue back anymore, I’ve listened to Turpentine over and over again because people said it’s good and after all my analysis I have finally determined that Turpentine is poop. The only good part is when Mark does his section. The chorus is basic, the lyrics are wack, the ending is absolute cringe. When you have absolute BANGERS like ‘More than you know’, ‘Anthem Pt.3’ and ‘Bad News’ they make Turpentine look like the B-Side filler song that it is. But that’s just my opinion 😄😎

I love Blink!! They are my 3rd favorite band, and I actually enjoyed this album overall! There was just a good chunk of songs that didn’t have that magic for me, but More than you know and anthem pt 3 I think will live in Blink hall of fame for years to come!

I'm a huge Blink fan, but self titled album wasn't that good to me. But like he said, music is subjective.

I wasn’t hating! Lol I really did dig at least half of this album. Garrett (black tee) didn’t have enough of an open mind because I think he was expecting enema of the state part 2 or something lol but I think this album will grow on him. I know It’s already grown on me!

I mean some songs are an instant connection and some songs take time to sink in. I remember I didn’t like ‘Neighborhoods’ at first but it really grew on me the more I kept coming back to it, and this Album is way batter than that!

Anthem is phenomenal. Tom brought out his younger Dude Ranch voice. I was grinning from ear to ear. This entire album is great. Do some research on these songs.
Fell in love is a tribute to The Cure. Terrified is the unreleased Boxcar racer song. Dance with me is a tribute to the Ramones..

Anthem is absolutely phenomenal! I actually might be the best one out of the 3 for me too. And this album did have a bunch of great songs, but it was no way a 10/10, even to Blink standards, but I will definitely say this is the most ‘Blink’ album since take off your pants and jacket. Self titled was pretty good but it didn’t have a complete Blink feel, and I enjoyed neighborhoods too but it was just missing something. But this slaps harder than California and nine for sure! 😎
@@EpicDguy they did say that they took everything they learned in their entire career in all of their projects and figured they could do it IN Blink. Have you watched the Zane Lowe interview? It's about an hour long and it's a really good raw interview with Blink throwing it all on the table.
I guess I am biased lol. Im probably one of the biggest Blink fans. I love this album not just because Tom is back but because it didn't feel forced. Neighborhoods felt forced when Tom came back the first time where as this one felt natural. They are having fun again as a band and it makes me happy. I've been a fan since Dammit came out and they are the reason I play music and my band exists today. I even loved the Skiba era because I'm a huge Alkaline Trio fan.
I’ll definitely check out that interview, that sounds awesome! Yes this album felt like it was natural for them and I thought Matt did a good job filling in for Tom and I actually really liked California too, but as soon as Anthem pt 3 starts you just get this immediate sense that Tom is back baby! I’m hoping they keep the momentum going and I can’t wait to see how the next couple of albums turn out 😄

The one bad take I got from this is everyone on the same agreement on Tuperntine. From other UA-cam reactions, Reddit, Insta, the fan base in whole is that Turpentine is considered one of or the best song on the album. Was really surprised by the negative reaction from everyone.
Now for the “black shirt guy” I don’t where he stands exactly with blink. Like is he a Cheshire/Dude Ranch, Enema/TOYPAJ or Untitled guy? It seems like none of the above. Such a mix bag with every take. Anthem Part 3 is a fan-fucking-tastic opener. It perfectly captures the 99-01 era. Same with Dance With Me. It even has a Ramones kinda vibe with it. Terrified is absolute banger. It was made in mind to be Boxcar Racer song and they absolutely captured that. I’m just gonna assume he doesn’t care for or never listened to BC. That album is a masterpiece. Turn This Off! has that blink humor that everyone loves and it’s that classic short punk rock song. So now I’m questioning does he even like punk music? Dudes a walking L. Although at least he gave You Don’t Know and Bad News a good rating so not all around terrible.

I think this album needs to be judged by Blink standards, not by the most epic songs of all time standards. Of course they aren't changing the world of music, but it's damn good if you're a fan of Blink already. But still, I enjoyed the video. Keep up the good work.
I think this was way more than I was expecting and I can see why this album is getting a lot of love from the fans! They did a great job and I’m excited to see where they go from here!

Ok I’ve went back and revisited Blink wave and Dance with me and know I will upgrade those songs to great status, especially Dance with me. The chorus wasn’t my thing at first but it grew on me. I heard a version of the song where they actually did that final chorus for each one and I thought that was better but I get that it’s much catchier and easier to just do the Ole’s! lol and Anthem part 3 is an absolute banger, I don’t know why my friends weren’t feeling that one because i think it actually may be the best Anthem out of the 3!

Ok I can’t hold my tongue back anymore, I’ve listened to Turpentine over and over again because people said it’s good and after all my analysis I have finally determined that Turpentine is poop. The only good part is when Mark does his section. The chorus is basic, the lyrics are wack, the ending is absolute cringe. When you have absolute BANGERS like ‘More than you know’, ‘Anthem Pt.3’ and ‘Bad News’ they make Turpentine look like the B-Side filler song that it is. But that’s just my opinion 😄😎

After 3 second all of you made up your mind with zero exploration. The whole album flex’s musical growth right down to time signature changes that most punk bands would never dream to attempt or have the brain cells to fathom. The whole thing is prime blink right down to the BS tracks that have been a staple of this band since Cheshire Cat. It’s really a shame but enjoy the interaction you got for making a reaction video. I love Blink!! They are my 3rd favorite band, and I actually enjoyed this album overall! There was just a good chunk of songs that didn’t have that magic for me, but More than you know and anthem pt 3 I think will live in Blink hall of fame for years to come!
