Okay, in your previous videos, when the opponent took your knight on C3, you captured with a pawn, but today you started capturing with your queen, creating a bishop-queen battery. I'm assuming that capturing with the queen is better at higher levels? I've reached a 1300 rating myself recently, so this video is perfect for me to learn about better organization.
If you can with queen it's better. Sometimes you haven't developed it yet 😢
From what I've seen it really has to do with the move order, not the level of his opponents. He has mentioned the battery idea since the beginning of the speedrun if I remember right.
@@JohnWilliamShatner Yeah you are probably right. I remember he said we always take with the pawn then challenge the center from d4 but this is probably when we cannot take with the queen.
Engine actually prefers pawn take but the evaluation is almost dead even. Also, that battery is nasty to deal with and more stressful on the human mind than taking with pawn.

How do you know when not to castle like he did in game 2?
