Great video Brad. Since you mentioned how much you like the Eve Energy plugs here js my question: do you use them with appliances or with bulbs in place of smart bulbs?
They get moved around.... I don't really use the energy monitoring, but I have one on my fireplace. It's really annoying to turn on manually if the smart plug isn't working, so that is why I like Eve Door and Window there so much. I've also used with a lights/fans. It's nothing special, it just works all the time, so I appreciate the reliability.

Do you recommend giver or Nanoleaf for apple home pod? I just picked up Nanoleaf on sale but saw your govee video and the ability to set many colors along the strip. Is govee king or will nano leaf work well enough? Also are there any others that use thread?? Or is it Nanoleaf or nothing. Im also looking for best bang for buck but anything with HomeKit or matter support is immediately way more expensive per foot than non smart home products. Thanks!

@@TheBradLloyd Strange, the Amazon product link is seemingly broken. It now links to the filters only. Even order history does the same. Also, the Amazon description states this is for 1000sq ft yet the Airversa product page states it as "optimal" for a 300 sq ft room. Pretty huge difference.
Question… have you noticed recently your smart wings blinds to show no response in homekit? Mine keep doing this, any idea why? They are not thread versions as they are just prior to that release. I can’t figure why they keep losing connection. Thanks
Actually yes.... I contacted SmartWings and they had to send me a new Thread motor instead. Since then it's been good, but my BLE has become unstable. Try contacting SmartWings about this.
@@TheBradLloyd Thank you for reply. I have been in contact with them, and they had told me maybe something with homekit, but I kept pushing them, and now gonna send me a thread motor to try, and then may need to replace all motors. We have 11 blinds, but will have to if necessary.

Eve power monitoring on the eve energy is broken on all of hte matter versions. I wouldnt buy.
Thanks for letting me know, I'll have to test this. I haven't had any issues, but I don't often use the power monitoring. Regardless, it's still the most reliable smart plug I've every used. I've only used the Matter version for a couple of months, but no issue so far. Thanks for sharing your experience though!
@@TheBradLloyd Yeah i recently replaced all of my Wemo's with Eve at full price. I was curious about power usage for one outlet and when i started looking it wasn't there. I did some research, its basically not there for anyone. Its a bug that hasn't been fixed, for a while.
I love thread/matter and they are VERY responsive but the power usage piece just isn't there anymore, which is half the reason i went with these.
