I’m glad the anime is doing this fight justice. You don’t see pure emotion perfectly connecting with the action anymore this often.
I really wished they had saved some budget for that scene where Deku thought Shiggy killed Bakugo so he responded with Demon Time

Even though it’s destroying his body + berserking… this is strangely the most effective use of raw fire power I’ve seen in a while. A lot of anime tend to make fire/elemental users very articulate or accute with their powers, making them use their abilities in a very specific manner. You don’t see fire users just go berserk and use raw amounts at maximum push to do something as simple as amp attacks.
Thats because most cannot comprehend the sheer power of the strongest element... Even Avatar fails to make firebending glow as it should, its nerfed heavily.
@@Woronoa I wouldn’t say fire is the strongest element; especially in the case of Avatar when earth bending and its sub bending are right there.

Dabi is just the final evolution of who Todoroki used to be if he hadn't met Deku. So Todoroki's not just fighting his big brother. He's fighting himself.

If it weren’t for Izuku intervening and encouraging Shoto that he’s not his father and that his quirk and life is truly his, Shoto let go of that hatred but Toya never did. Shoto wants to fight Toya because he understands he could’ve ended up just like him.

The final Agni Kai between Shoto and Touya begins now. The clashing of two brothers quite literally separated by their father’s villainy. I still hope that Shoto can get through to Touya in some way though. Touya may not want to admit it, bit they’re more alike than he thinks.

Geez..Dabi is the embodiment of pain, envy and hurt. This scene is actually hard to watch, poor Shoto. The worst irony is that had Dabi stuck around a bit longer before going rogue, it would have been Shoto who empathized with him the most arguably. You know it's good writing when it hurts the heart.
Such an emotionally epic episode. The Todofam storyline has been such a treat to witness thus far 🔥

If i had a nickel for every time a side character from an asian animated show with fire powers and a burn scar on their eye given to them by one of their parents, fought their older sibling who controlled blue flames and went crazy by the end of the series, i would have 2 nickels, which isn’t alot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
