Kenpachi's bankai is hype. Ichigo's new bankai is also hype. But these are brutes, you expect rage moments from them. Kyoraku however is the gentle man you don't want to mess with in anime. My favorite moment right after my favorite character's bankai (Urahara), but I believe Kyoraku was treated better.
When the original anime was just wrapping up I was battling with cancer. I won, and now I'm here to see this. I've seen and experienced even more peak in the meantime, but Bleach has always carried a special place in my heart.
It's the same for me. Around season 2 of the og anime, I suffered a massive seizure and required hospitalization for a few months. It carries a special place in my heart as well. Glad you're with us to witness greatness!

Not sure if you've read the manga, but his character arc is the best in all of TYBW. Still shocked by the direction they took his character, but it kind of makes sense. This is the guy who suffers in silence, a literal critical assassin who will do anything, give anything to "win". Some of his choices, you have to think could have earned him the death penalty were he to have gone about it any other way.

Look at the construction of the trailer. Everyone's saying "bankai", until Kyoraku comes in at the end and says "so guys, you've asked for so long, get ready because I'm finally going to release mine" . This is amazing
It's also in chronological order of who used theirs first. The first Bankai was Ichigo last Bankai shown was Senjumaru's. This means that Shunsui's is likely the first of the 3rd cour

Kyoraku being made Head Captain after Yamamoto is easily my favorite plot development in the entirety of TYBW and it was only heightened by him finally doing Bankai after having it teased by Ukitake so many years before during the Fake Karakura battle
My dad and I used to watch Bleach growing up. I would always be in my room switching to adult swim at the time, and he would do the same downstairs, but we both found a fondness for anime. I think he enjoyed the action, but understood the emotion, not unlike the growing kid that I was, who felt the same, trying to develop an identity out of the emotions of these extraordinary characters. He was and older man, born in the 1950's, and he died not too long ago. I wish he was here to see the end with me. I wanted to grow with him like I grew with these characters, but he did his best, and left the world. Wherever you are now, Dad, I hope you're doing alright. Everytime I see a new bleach trailer out something inside me just lights up, reminds me of how I felt watching it as a young teenager, honestly one of the best animes of all time.
Definitely debatable, shunsui vs Lillie is personally what I’m looking forward to but I’m really excited to see how the animation staff tackles pernida and the mayuris bankai.
It seems that Yhwach and Ichigo will have a proper fight this time before his final boss encounter at the end of the arc. But I'm really looking forward to Part 4, that Aizen & Ichigo vs Almighty Yhwach remake is going to be mind blowing to say at least.
Kyoraku saying Bankai gave me chills. Finally he uses it. Hopefully they'll give the fights to come room to breathe. Cause there's no reason for the battles with the members of the Schutzstaffel to be one episode each
I think they’ll go this way. One episode to cover a whole Bankai is enough, and knowing that we have limited episodes in which a lot of stuff is going to happen, I would consider myself happy if we get to see one episode fight per Schutzstaffel
I hear they’re adding some extra scenes to that battle too. Mayuri/ Nemu is an absolute unit. My absolute favorite character in Bleach has always been Mayuri and I’m dying to see him in action FINALLY.

Having all the captains say Bankai in the beginning was so cool. Can't wait for Oct. And it looks fantastic. This will be an epic cour. They will have a lot to live to for cour 4.
These new scenes and the new poem basically confirm we're getting a whole bunch of new Quincy and Soul King Lore. Kubo is the GOAT! The animation here looks better than in Cour 3! Pierrot is cooking something big.

I think they’ll go this way. One episode to cover a whole Bankai is enough, and knowing that we have limited episodes in which a lot of stuff is going to happen, I would consider myself happy if we get to see one episode fight per Schutzstaffel
