I really hope there will be more shows like "the Good Place"... I enjoyed it a lot and it gave me some food for thought, while also making me laugh :D I really hope this will give way for more projects like this
I absolutely love the show. But I’m glad it is ending. I want it to be compact and good as a whole body of work. Not good until season so and so and then disappointing. They’re right at that point of “off the rails” shows get to this season so I’m glad they have the chance to plan and make it great and end on a considered note.
I hoped that it'd be at least 5-6 seasons. this series is really interesting and unique. so I assumed they'd take it a bit further. but yeah, this makes sense too.
On the subject of teaching a class based on a TV show, I am a retired film editor and used to teach. "Cheers" was for a long time the classic on how to shoot and edit a multi-camera audience show, and I used it as the example of how to do it properly. In fact it was an example of how to do everything properly. Great writing, great acting, great direction, and great editing. It was a joy to watch if only for Ted Danson's timing.
Just finally saw the 4th season of The Good Place-- great ending! (I couldn't see it until it came to Netflix because my cable station charges crazy amounts for both TV and internet; so I had to choose. Internet won. And, I had to wait until I could re-watch Seasons 1-3 without feeling like I just saw it yesterday; but that's on me.) I loved this series so much-- NERD TV! But, also very cool! And I loved the way it twisted and turned and really took a full ride around all beliefs and philosophies. Yet, without defining or offending any of them. Excellent. I LOVED Ted Danson as Michael. It was so good to see him again (and, yes, I haven't seen him since Cheers!; blame my kids-- TV was off-the-table for about 20 years between being too tired when they were babies to too busy when they were children to deferring TV to them when they were teens, and still too busy). But I loved everyone in this cast. I had heard of Kirsten Bell but never seen her. And I loved Jameela Jamil (and the lady who played her sister, Rebecca Hazlewood), William Jackson Harper, Manny Jacinto and D'arcy Carden, not to mention all the great recurring characters/actors. Don't ask me to pick a favorite; they're all great. And the way it ended was great. Too many successful series just don't seem to know when to quit. This did. And, honestly, it was a great ride-- a roller coaster, for sure, but wonderful.
As a parent ( with kids who love the show as much as I do ) i really appreciate the " 9-year-old fart sense of humor". Thank you Ted, you really are the best!
@@viniciusgmachado1204 omg UA-cam a show called Becker it’s really good my brother made me watch it years ago.. and when I watched the good place I was like I’ve seen this guy in something before my before was like HES BECKER! I’m like OMG HE ISSSSSSS!!!! #recommend watching it
3:35 Ethics of Cheers, I did watch a video discussing the no means yes, covered Leia and Han, but also Sam and Diane, but it was not flattering so not ideal for interview purposes and totally common in media (unfortunately).
So instead of just having a class on ethics, Notre Dame has an actual class on the ethics displayed in The Good Place? Why...? Education truly has gone off the rails.
Love season 1 of the Good Place. Second season was messy. Reboot back to the point when she realize it's a bad place and keep her being "bad". If that actually make sense lol
Is it reasonable that all the ethics philosophers were men? Considering violent crime, wars & abuse is % wise far more men? I always feel that the philosophical arguments are always stupid too: burning building who do you save: your mom or cancer curing doctor? - one dimensional & stupid, if life were so simple we wouldn't need philosophy in the first place.
cat lover Haven’t you heard of presentism? You’re applying modern day ideals to times when that wasn’t the case. The vast majority of people were racist or sexist or whatever back then, it was just the norm. You can’t hold it against them like that.
"MARYYY!!! LOOK AT MY WIFE!! LOOK AT HER!!" he has been married to her for almost a quarter of a century, thats love right there
So mucho, mucho mucho, We love you both forever
I think he'd had a few in the green room.
Who tf says "quarter of a century"
Astro Samurai - ummmm...a lot of people
@@sawurrai7333 To emphasise how long it is in perspective. Over a quarter of the lifespan of most people.
Ted Danson is such a treasure. He's one of those people that are too good to be real.
But he's a demon :p
His laugh is so perfect for his role as michael
"LOOK AT MY WIFE LOOK AT HER!!" I y e a r n to have a love like that

The good place is such a wholesome witty and all around amazingly written show. So sad to see it come to an end!!

I am now reading What We Owe To Each Other by Scanlon.
I finished The Good Place and immediately bought the book as well.
Just got it on Audible! Happy reading/listening.
I'm watching The Good Place with my 16 yr old son and we are always pausing it to discuss the moral philosophy in the show. It's awesome.
Weird
That's great
Lol Ted is just old John Mulaney
Damn that's so true
Ted is one of the few people I will always click on to see, hes a treasure.
Jodie and Phoebe.. the man has TASTE.

P.S. And, yes, THIS is when I look up the the actors -- because I don't want to spoil the magic of their characters until it's all over.
Ted Danson loves Schitt's Creek?!! I love that
this is my first time being the first comment lol
Loved Ted in “The Good Place” 👍🏻
CHEERS WAS ONE OF THE BEST EVER. HANDS DOWN.
LEGEND. 👏🏻 - I cant look at him without thinking about Michael lol ❤️love this guy.
Forking sucks this is the final season of The Good Place. Such a great show. No bullshirt.
He's a legend.
I love Ted Danson. He's awesome.
Ted Denson looks like a five years old child and i am living for it!
As a parent ( with kids who love the show as much as I do ) i really appreciate the " 9-year-old fart sense of humor". Thank you Ted, you really are the best!
I knew who Ted Danson was before watching The Good Place, so the fact that my brain says “Michael” when I see him just shows what a good actor he is.
I hope when I die he'd welcome me to the good place, with that laughter and excitmment of his
The Good Place lost at the Emmys only because there are so many good shows on!
Ted is his cover up name he is actually Michael *IRL*
The most of the best series have a definitive run.
Ted is 35 years older than me and he's still hot as hell 😍
He’s better now than he was on Cheers. Just compare pictures of his young and current self!
@@viniciusgmachado1204 Definitely! He's incredibly attractive! He's old enough to be my grandpa, but I still find him hot af! 😍
He absolutely is! 😍
Can't cope knowing his in his 70s. In my head he's always been Sam from Cheers.
He's forking HANDSOMEEEEEEEEEE.
Omg it’s the guy from Cheers. OMG I been watching it recently and I can’t believe it.
I read philosophy for fun now, all thanks to the good place.
Bored To Death was criminally underrated.
Honorable man. A great role model.
DID ANYONE EVER WATCH BECKER? OR was that only me and my twin bro? 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️
I liked Becker
What _is_ Becker?
Love that show

I’ve got it now.
So likeable
Happy birthday ted from italian boy live in rome
I got the remax ad with simone on this video
The only part of Cheers that applied to my college years was the bar tab.
Also the dumb barman. There's a Woody in every bar.
He should get comedy roles like Leslie Nielson used to have. He's a brilliant actor and I love his acting
That chin though. It's glorious!
"Can Ted Danson still get it ?"
Ted Danson as Brian! Ted Danson as Brian, as Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible 8.
Please... PLEASE post them in order.
i love how he’s so much like michael
0:50 when your crush has a crush on your another crush
Just finished watching the last episode and I feel.... Hmmm that I cant think of what to feel. Its Weird.
Aw, Cheers has great ethics. What it means to be a good friend, don't be like most of the people who go to and work in the bar.
Cheers!
Dr Becker!
Becker was my kind of cynicism!
Becker is awesome! I still watch it
@@zizinnnn i still do too, never seen another actor ever come close to portraying the character played by Ted as Dr Becker!
Get this man on Schitt’s Creek!
I just want to point out for anyone who watches this 2 year old video, Ted Dansons normal laugh is Michaels evil laughter!
3:35 Ethics of Cheers, I did watch a video discussing the no means yes, covered Leia and Han, but also Sam and Diane, but it was not flattering so not ideal for interview purposes and totally common in media (unfortunately).
Noooooooooooo, please not the final season, life has no meaning any longer.
Seth, i love you, but please dont interrupt, when you are interviewing guests
Ted Danson is more hwenum than yahoo :^)
Only one more season of The Good Place?
Karen Cruz season 4 is the last
♥︎♡goodbye, fire squid...hello, silver fox♡♥︎
Seth let ted talk for 1 sec
Who is Will? He told his story? I'm lost
daddy af
He is Hollywood's Amitabh Bachchan.
When the interviewer talks more than the interviewed...
Damn Micheal is now acting like a real human

Why they don’t make Bored to death movieeeee ..
You drunk?9
Ted bro go on that date with Beth pls
All the ppl he liked to meet were women. What a friend to women. 😊
xuyahfish I really hope nothing awful ever comes out 😯
cat lover No accusation! I hope he doesn’t have any skeletons, as he is great 👍🏼
Not sure enough people in the audience got the National Enquirer reference ......
Love season 1 of the Good Place. Second season was messy. Reboot back to the point when she realize it's a bad place and keep her being "bad". If that actually make sense lol
Oh okay, just don't let the guy you're interviewing speak, just speak for 2/3rds of it. How pointless.
Professor of ethics... That's a dumb job I want
I went looking to see if anyone else saw the resemblance between Danson and Epstein. 😅
Shut up, Seth! Let the man speak
Clearly trump supporters were either not watching or simply not paying attention. A great run for the show!
Good Wolf not everything needs to be political
ted danson is bald right, wearing a toupee, suits him...
He's been balding since the 90s. He's not wearing a toupee, his hair is combed back.
