Hello everyone, thanks for tuning in! Has this video piqued your curiosity on Nakasendo? Please watch out for Part 2 - which is the actual hike starting from Magome! See you here in the comments section! 😊

Thanks for the video! I’m looking to hike Nakasendo on my next trip in April.

    Hello,
Any chance you remember how early, and how often the local bus runs from Nakatsugawa station to Magome? I noticed you mentioned when the last bus runs.

Hi there, yes I do - on weekdays the earliest bus leaves Nakatsugawa Sta at 7:42am while on weekends + holidays, the earliest leaves at 8:10am. Then there’s a bus leaving almost every hour.
I still have a screenshot of the schedule I got from the Nakatsugawa Tourist Info Center. I can send it to you if you’re on IG? :)

Do you know if luggages can be stored in Nakatsugawa station for more than 24 hours? Thanks.

Hi there! Yes if you’re using coin lockers. They dont have a lot but they have a size that fits big luggages too, as far as I can remember :)
