Laura could you do a topic on how you and your husband make your relationship work? What you do to show that you love each other, how you deal with arguments, etc??
to keep bugs out of flour ( they grow even in sealed packages) add 2 whole bay leaves in the center ...we have used it for GENERATIONS never had bugs.....
Hey laura I live in Malta and we have the bug problem with flour or pasta, doesnt really go with sealing the container properly.. these bugs enjoy warmth so youll find them a lot more in summer.. if you dont want to throw away your flour or pasta that has bugs (these bugs are harmless), put the flour or pasta in a flat dish for even distribution in direct sunlight because it is too hot for them and they will scurry.. what you need to do to prevent this problem is to store them in the fridge
I send you my dear Laura my best wishes from the oldest town in Syria "Damascus", wishing you a happy new year and lots of success... I love all your recipes and tried most of them.
Hi Laura, what about a topic on what pots/pans, tools or other things that need tobe nearest to your stove for easy access. thanks laura love the channel
My Nana has the trouble of Weevils, (little bugs in flour) they are the size of pin heads and when she keeps her flour in a cupboard that has been sterilised and vacuumed etc they always appear however since she has swapped where she keeps the flour she hasn't had them. Neither of us know how or why they only turn up in that one cupboard but they do so yes like Laura said do keep Flour and usually other Wheat goods in sealable containers. Thanks !!!
@cozzyk hey thanks so much for your quick response! I don't know the portabella mushrooms at all, so something new to discover - thanks for instructions also. Best wishes!
Please tell me where did you bought those bowls where you keep your flour, sugar, brown sugar, powdered suger??? Love love love love love love love Luka!
@loui0008 Portabella mushrooms. You can buy them dried or in the produce section but the dried kind are great to have on hand in your pantry. You soak them for a bit in water before using them and they rehydrate.
Hi Laura, could you please do some kind of shopping guide for veggies and meat? Like how you can tell that something's fresh or the piece of meat will be tender. Also how do you store fresh veggies in your fridge? Thanks!
Hi Laura pls come up with a flour topic!! My question is: what are the different kinds of flours and their purposes? And why did u not want to use self-raising flour for baking? (You used mostly all-purpose flour and baking soda and salt) =)
@MeYouAndEveryone1 well.u r right, that is not an excuse. You do not take it to other people when you r not ok especially when they are trying to do what they love! still, it shows courage and a nice character being able to confront your mistake, acknowledge it and apologize. :)
Hi Laura! I love all your videos. Please keep them coming. I have a question. Can you suggest on how to keep fresh baasil? It wilts so fast. I put it in the water but by the next day it already goes limp. Any suggestions?
Hi Laura, I remember you saying which types of wines you use but I can't remember which episode you mentioned this in. What are your suggestions for red and white wines?
Hi Laura, Happy New Year! Can you tell us what's the difference between baking soda and baking powder? Do you always use both in baking? If not, when would you use one over the other? Thanks! Love your channel, as always, keep up the great work!
hey laura, i was just wonderig where do you know where to get all the "tools" for baking (cupcakes, cakes, muffins...) for me since i'm from Canada i don't think i will have every place you go too.. by the way ever since i started watching i've been like craving everything you do just one thing is could u PLEASE answer this back... thx

grr! My question wasn't answered! I understand you have a lot of fans and questions asked daily, I'm glad you do because you are great. I just want to know what brand of dry spices you use? I love your spice jars and I use a lot of dry spices, so I really want a good brand to cook with. Thank you very much and keep up the good work with your shows :)
Ciao Laura, being Brazilian I would like to suggest you try SEAFOOD MOQUECA which is a stew made with palm oil, cocconut milk, you will definitely love it, you can use : coda di rospo fish(fish with firm flesh) calamari, shrimp, squid, octopus you name it. youcan easily find the receipe on google typing: moqueca :-)
Hi Laura, Love these tips. I just wanted to offer my advice to the viewer who asked about bringing home food items from abroad. They really should check with customs to find out what is allowed to be brought home (some countries like Australia for example have very strict rules about food items) Your customs officer should be able to give you a leaflet or advice on what is allowed. Also when returning home make very sure that you declare the items as otherwise you can get fined. *hugs* xx
Ok I'm 13 years old and I'm a guy and made a mango smoothie, avocado blt, and egg in a basket!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Laura lol I just find you 1 week ago!!!!
i love this video! a lot of helpfull info... looking forward to more of these types of videos. question: (you touch on some of this) is there specific herbs/seasoning that should be used for certain foods
Hi Laura Just wanted to share with you and the others my Aunt told me years ago to put a bay leave in my flour to keep out the bugs out I have done that for years with no problem. I do try to remember to change the Bay Leaf a few times a year or when I'm starting a new bag of flour just have to remember to watch for the Bay Leave when you use the flour. I'm Italian and always thought it was an old Italian way..I wonder if your mother and/or grandmother ever put a Bay Leave in the flour..
Hey Laura! I love all your videos, they're just amazing. We have different shapes for pasta, do they all taste the same or they don't taste the same? Thanks Laura Bye :)
Hey Laura! I'm new to your chanel(s), and I absolutely love all that you do (especially your makeup tutorials ). I was wondering if you could do a video on a weekly meal plan, and possibly a grocery shop to support that meal plan. I would really love to see something like that! Hope you see this! :)
@TheLukagaga I saw them in the container store, check their website. You can also try amazon.com. I hope that helps. I've been looking every where for her spice jars but I can't find them. By the way, you can also try bed bath and beyond.
U look absolutely gorgeous laura. Can u do a make up tutorial on this look. Also i heat up my store bought pesto sauce with additional olive oil before adding it to pasta. What i do is, i saute garlic with olive and add teh pesto and thn add the pasta. Is this correct?
