stakuyi may be my favorite history/gaming youtuber because he is very honest about his life, and very down to earth. Many youtubers don't feel relatable, stakuyi is the opposite. Anddddd I love history ngl.

I love that when Italy intiated the cut down to size play their attitude was fearful. They were really counting on other nations to help. And at the start of the war they only improved to uncertain.

But on another note, have you considered playing After the End for CK3? It may only be in beta but there's a lot of content for just a beta.

Not sure world conquest matters, but would be interesting to see how things would go in to the 20th century. How one can handle the economy, literacy, or how high the population or general assimilation rate could go.

I did the Belgium science and industry run, they kicked me out too. But I got bailed out the US and evened off the economy from -600k to +1.5m, switching to protectionism from free trade helped alot.

At this point, you might want to set yourself some sort of timer to a)pet the dog and b) check if you are still recording every 5-10 minutes or so. That way you won't lose 90 minutes of content.

Hey man! Could you do a less developed country next Victoria play through? I've tried played as Japan and the Ottomans and that shit seems really hard. Especially for the Japanese who are historically supposed to rival the Russians in 1905. Trying to figure out if it's meant to be so hard or if I just need to get gud lol

In my Belgium run I was able to get up to #2 GDP being in my own customs union. My RNG made France come calling for a customs union. First playthrough -- I feel like I could have done more if I would have been aggressive with military.

To be completely fair, it’s named after queen Victoria…
you should be able to recover from an economic crash from being kicked outta a customs union... for me as algeria, it was just that i needed to build a buncha tools, steel and engines. the base goods of industry, unless you used up all your peasants.

I haven't been able to play Vic 3 due to hardware restrictions, but I've been keeping up with it for when I upgrade, apparently communism is op. Everyone has high purchasing power, which means you get more money, everyone loves living there, so people migrate over giving you more pop, and it's easier to pass laws like multiculturalism and women's rights. This is what I heard so it may not be the most accurate, thought I'd just tell ya incase you wanted to be even more op.
