I cannot say enough good things about Amber’s Invisible Intervention. I have done it myself and it works. Mostly I needed the knowledge of what my loved one was going through, but I also needed the knowledge of what I was contributing to the addiction. There are no words to say how grateful I am that I purchased this package. If you take the work YOU need to do in it SERIOUSLY, you won’t be disappointed. AND it works in ALL KINDS of life situations- not just addiction❤️

you have helped so much but we are still in the thick of it. i’m in the terrible situation of being stuck staying despite being emotionally abused because in my state they still will allow him custody of our child even though he is in active addiction. i can’t find any info on this. if i leave, i have to face that he will have our child and may be drinking. he’s very angry and careless when drinking and our child has special needs - feeding tube etc. I’d rather stay and deal than leave drop my son off to an active alcoholic

I watch so much recovery content and since becoming un addicted lol have spent most of my time diving into educating myself in trauma and addiction, causes, recovery strategies and counseling. Currently getting certified for peer support n looking into recovery coaching. I find myself agreeing with you 100% on dealing with both sides of the line. Those addicted and those that wish the weren't known as the family or support group . Love love love ❤️ ur channel content. It's the best real life advise n strategies on dealing with addiction. I love Dr. Gabor Mate' as well. Just wanted to tell you thank you for doing this kind of work so well. You are Awsome! I hope that I can be as discerning as you when attempting to impart some addiction strategy wisdom on to those that want, need and have the willingness to do it. This is my 3rd( n final) go around. I had 3 yrs, 7 yrs n now I'm currently almost 3 yrs clean. The big difference is this time I went thru this awaking prior to getting clean( it actually led me to it) I was able to see deeply into myself which led me to what I like to call root cause therapy. Something I think is the missing part of those anonymous programs. ❤ ur stuff lol 😊

It’s so difficult I love my daughters father deeply, but he’s spiralled to the point I can’t deal with it anymore. He acknowledges he has a serious problem but he won’t get help. I’ve tried to be supportive but I’ve had the realisation I’m enabling him. So I’ve said to him enoughs enough and he needs to get sober before he sees us again. I feel terrible for saying this to him and giving him this ultimatum but I just can’t do this anymore. Our daughter needs a sober healthy dad and I want my partner back. He’s been very angry and threw out a lot of vile hateful things at me. But I feel I’ve no choice but to detach until he makes changes

How do I detach from an alcoholic friend? I tried yesterday and they called me up (under the influence I suspect) crying and saying how much they need me. This is tough but I am ready to be done for my own peace and sanity at this point.

Hi amber! First off i want to let you know how thankful i am i found your channel. It helped me so much to understand and communicate with my husband. He just got off the rehab center for the first time from a drug addiction. We had a recent conversation about he told me that he woke up from a dream panicking that he slipped sipping an alcohol. Hes not much into alcohol even on his active addiction. He communicated that he is intrigued that he has these dream about alcohol and that he wonders if social drinking is possible years down the road in his sobriety. What are your thoughts about this?

Addiction has a lot to do with health of a person. I would love to find a holistic tx center that test blood levels and offers IV therapy If needed. Holistic plant base diet. So much out there to avoid the medical poison interventions.

I'm so thankful for your channel. There's so much to learn, and all of it is so valuable. I have a question that I'm not sure if you've covered or not in one of your videos.
My loved one believes that his addiction corrects a chemical imbalance, and is much more frightened of correcting that imbalance using mainstream pharmaceuticals than drugs and alcohol, as he's known a number of people who committed suicide after being put on antidepressants so psych drugs terrify him. In addition, I think he's scared that if he discovered an underlying chemical imbalance after getting sober, the knowledge of that would discourage him so much that he'd relapse into an even worse dependence than he has now.
It's a little challenging for me to know how to respond. What might you suggest?

    Amber?
What about if your loved one still lives under my roof but his " new persona" ( and my lack of knowlege wbout addiction) resulted in destroyed broken relation - extreme anger towards me ( his mother) and dissconnection.
    How to proceed?
Will the invisible intervention still work if the relation is "bleeding" for now???
    Where should i start?
I made some mistakes confronting him about his addiction to hard.
I forced him to mental health facility by putting him on mandatory form, called police when he was out of control. He refused treatment and they realised him
Now, one year after that he hates me and blames his addiction to weed on me. He disconnected, there Is hardly any contact, exception anger and rage.
    I'm backing of,
    " freezing".
He is my son , 30. A " perfect kid" up to university times, progressing with addiction after the pandemic. Not the same person 180 degrees change.
He still lives in my 2 bedroom apartment and hardly functions /no work/anymore.
    He graduated with honors.
What else can I do Amber?
I can't even use invisible intervention on him because he " hates me" so much. How to reach out into my "real son"?
Please make video on that what to do when somebody refuses communication with hate/rage
