I am a Welshman living in Japan. It is freezing here with several feet of snow - I cannot get my car out of the car park. Japanese houses - the traditional ones like we have - are built to be cool in the hot, humid summers. It is freezing here!! My wife - who is Japanese and I watch your videos,,,,and relax! They are incredible, and I could not do what you do, but I admire and in truth, am envious! Just keep doing what you are doing,,,,My only complaint is,,,,you and your wife's cooking. My Mrs is working away for a few days so I have to rely on convenience store food....You two make me so hungry with what you eat,,,, I could never do it!!! Thank you young fella. We really enjoy your work!

When we use to compost animal manure we would aerate and add other materials like straw, leaves, grass, rotting wood, eggshells, etc, with water on a pile for several months (plus covering it from rain). After baking in the sun and heating up it ensured any pathogens were gone to put on edible plants.

you can attract geese with live greens and grass. they sh*t green right after as in loose as a goose. they are messy, noisy and mean and come back every year if you let them. FYI - X farmer's wife me. sincere thanks for sharing another serene video with all of us you tubers.

Hello again Russell, watching the wildlife on your video, we have bear, deer, moose, rabbit, racoons, porcupine, lot's of small game birds, just no beaver on our 50 acres. lol
Very few rabbits/hares around here. In fact I was surprised to see them at all on the trailcams. Elk, on the other hand, seem to live for the sole purpose of pooping. They have no shame at all.
You can buy a cheap thin garden hose, cut the end off, buy some half inch clear hose insert on the pump and put the garden house over it with a hose clamp, has to be the cheap thin garden hose cause they're thin. Or you won't get it over the clear hose you've already put over the half inch spouts.
Russel did a little research for you stake eyes and hooks are available in Home Hardware, buy one set of longer hooks for back rack and it will act as tailgate hinge.

Got any plans to extend the firewood shelter with another section forward so it gets more depth and your outside roofed area improves? Could be useful for painting the rest of the boards and as ATV garage at the far end..

Russel pickup some stake box connectors at farm supply store then your trailer box sides are independent more sturdy and easier to put on and remove. Cheap and stronger fix.

Indeed the maple syrup in the video was made in our kitchen about a month ago, tapped from maple trees by the cabin. Hope you get back to Gaspee sometime!
