I like your accent , i dimt
Nick Menza was an incredible drummer...RIP
Facts..
RIP very underrated.
Nick Menza🤟
Hey honey, are u shocked?
RIP
Megadeth at their peak,
Nick Menza on the drums, Marty Friedman on guitar,
this is my favorite Megadeth lineup.
It’s just good ole Dave predicting the future way back in 1990.
“The next thing you know… they’ll take my thoughts away!”
Scary how his songs got so much right about the world we live in today. Megadeth is legendary. Awesome band and awesome reaction Bis. 🙂
The Prophet Dave Mustaine.
The lyrics of this song imagine if MD and Slayer combined with Angel of Death..
"Peace Sells" is mandatory to be heard by Megadeth
I reckon they’ve already heard their own album
Honestly peace sells is my favorite album but I don’t really listen to the title track. It’s literally the weakest song on the album. Wake up Dead, Devils island, the conjuring, good mourning/Black Friday, my last words, bad omen are all such badass songs
@@FlippMasters that bass line is legendary tho
@@SynysterGates1012345 Good point. 😂
Fantastic group. Dave Mustaine has always brought in the best guitarists to play with as well. This version is with Marty Friedman. One of the best guitar solos in metal is on their single "Tornado of Souls". Their latest album has Kiko Louerio playing lead guitar....really sounding back to their 80's thrash roots too.
New album dropping next week. Sounds like their old music, and some of it is
@@jima6545 it's a sold BANGER!
My favorite Megadeth tune.
Lead singer (Dave Mustaine) was the original lead guitarist for Metallica before he was fired and Kirk Hammett was brought in before their original album Kill em All
he was on some kill em all
The main information about Megadeth is that their frontman, Dave Mustaine, was the original guitar player for Metallica, and created his own band after beeing fired in 1983
And is still crying about it.
Thank God that incident gave us the angriest metal band of all time
and that IS NOT “ the main info about him” the main info is he is brilliant!
Yeah, he promised he would make a band much heavier and faster than Metallica. Did he succeed? up to the fans.
@@222MovieMan i would say they are heavier and faster but not always better i love megadeth and metallica it is possible even if people tell you no.
Good song to start out on Megadeth with. This lineup of the band is my personal favorite in their history. They've changed members about as much as a professional sports team, with the only constant member being the lead singer, Dave Mustaine. He formed the group after Metallica fired him and replaced him with Kirk. It's something that he let live rent free in his head for several decades before they finally got it worked out. Personal favorites: Sweating Bullets, 1,000 Times Goodbye, Hanger 18, Peace Sells, A Tout le Monde (the set me free version with Christina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil), and In My Darkest Hour (Written after Metallica bassist Cliff Burton died, no one from the band called him, and he ended up hearing about Cliff's death in the news).
A great song and one of the first "advanced" songs I learned to play on guitar. Rust In Peace (the album it was on) is one of my favorite albums of all time
I consider this album one of the greatest thrash albums ever if not THE greatest
Reign in blood…
Best thrash album ever
@@keinnamegefunden1 I may be a year late, but yeah, Slayer in their prime was a pretty hard act to follow in thrash terms!! My fave Album of Slayer is still Seasons in the Abyss purely because that was when the balance between thrash and storytelling was just spot on. For raw power though? Reign in blood. (and it's a damn short Album!!) The other thrash bands of the 80's/90's (and yes I am including such giants as Pantera) just added to Megadeth's legacy. Ahh, the 80's and 90's, The defining time of Metal. Nu-wave is good, don't get me wrong, But I will still shake the house down too the big three, Megadeth, Maiden and Metallica
You should check them out live.
Megadeth-She Wolf-Live-Rude Awakening
That performance is mandatory viewing. It never gets old.
My first concert was Megadeth, Sanctuary and Warlock at the Beacon Theatre in NYC when I was 15. Amazing show.
Please do more songs from them, there is a lot! My favorite albums are the Rust in peace and Countdown to extinction. Lots of cool songs from there.
In My Darkest Hour is my favourite Megadeth song ... there's no hiding from the emotion put into that song. It's a reflection of Dave Mustaine's thoughts after he learnt about Cliff Burton's (Metallica's bassist) death in '86.
I wish I could experience this song for the first time all over again I still love it to this day but man that first time I was just blown away this is just an absolutely badass song!
MegaDeth's Rust In Peace album is my favorite among their catalog and is in my top tier of all-time best records ever, period. From start to finish, it's an absolute banger. I was lucky enough to see them for the first time on the legendary Clash Of The Titans tour (along with Alice In Chains, Anthrax, and Slayer) shortly after Rust In Peace was release. It was a mindblowing experience, to be sure. I was 16, the tickets cost $19, and it was an evening I'll never forget. Great reaction to a great track! A fitting introduction to Mustaine & Co., in my humble opinion. A few suggestions (in no particular order):
1. Sepultura ~ Altered State
2. MegaDeth ~ Lucretia
3. Testament ~ The Ballad (NOT the official video, though, as it's highly edited)
4. Pantera ~ The Sleep
5. King Diamond ~ Sleepless Nights (live at the Fillmore)
6. Iron Maiden ~ Flash Of The Blade
7. Overkill ~ Live Young, Die Free
8. Exodus ~ Low Rider (War cover)
9. Lamb Of God ~ Walk With Me In Hell
10. Metallica ~ Frayed Ends Of Sanity (studio version)
11. Death Angel ~ Room With A View
12. W.A.S.P. ~ Hellion
13. Annihilator ~ Crystal Ann/Alison Hell
14. Suicidal Tendencies ~ How Will I Laugh Tomorrow (If I Can't Even Smile Today)
15. Ozzy Osbourne ~ Fire In The Sky
Keep rockin' and stay heavy! Wishing everyone peace, love, and good happiness stuff from the mountains of northeastern Alabama 🤘
Edit:
This song is basically two stories spliced into one...Holy Wars (everything from the beginning until the end of Marty's first clean solo was inspired by religious adversity in Ireland while everything afterwards was inspired by the comic book character The Punisher). Regarding Nick Menza's calves, drummer here...you tend to build up the calf muscles playing drums in metal music lol When I was younger I would often practice with 5 lb. weights strapped around each of my ankles 😁
R.I.P., Nick...you will never be forgotten 🖤
I am so jealous you saw the Clash of the Titans tour. I was too young to go but heard stories for years about how amazing it was. Not just the bands themselves but just the crowds and the overall atmosphere of being there. I didn't get to see Megadeth until the mid 90s.
I got to see Megadeth on Clash of the Titans tour in UK (Birmingham NEC arena) with Slayer, Testament and Suicidal Tendencies. Not bad for first ever concert I went to. Second was Donnington Monsters of rock with Metallica and AC/DC headlining.
The whole Rust in Peace album is a masterpiece! I recommend also listening to Hangar 18
First off I'm going to show you, my sist🎉er some fraternal love🇮🇹 This was Megadeth's first album done fresh out of rehab and free from drugs. This whole album is the apex of thrash.
Hey Bisscute, now I have to thank you, like you thanks everytime all the bands. I find you canal for a month ago and nearly watch until now all you reactions. I known about 80% of all the songs you react to it. But I get through you and other reactors much deeper understanding for songs, that's so nice and helpful.
You are our emotional energy ball, with so deep understanding of all you get along. Everybody can learn so much from the beautiful person you are. I also get some emotions back from watching you reactions.
Lovely Greetings from a German guy from Berlin
Sonic juggernaut, a musical force of nature, totally intense instrumental opening.
THIS IS THE BEST MEGADETH LINE UP.
OUT OF ANY OF MEGADETH'S BAND MEMBERS EVER.
PLUS THIS IS OF THERE BEST SONGS..
I FEEL MEGADETH IS OF THE BEST BANDS OUT THERE..
BESIDES SLAYER..
MATALICA IS OK SAME WITH ANTHRAX..
I GUESS I'M A MEGADETH FAN 100%.❤❤
THANX FOR THE VIDEO .MEGADETH IS 1 OF MY FAVORITE BAND.I SUGGEST PEACE SELLS AND SYMPHONY OF DESTRUCTION ALSO BY THEM.YOUR ENTHUSIASM AND ENERGY IN YOUR REACTIONS ARE FUN AND GENUINE, ITS COOL THAT YOUNGER PEOPLE ARE DISCOVERNIG MUSIC I GREW UP WITH!
Just saw this live. God I love this band!!! Glad you’re reacting to them now 😊
Hangar 18 is a great Megadeth song to check out if you like the solos (I think there are 9 guitar solos in Hangar 18). Great reaction, by the way!
It was really cool watching you headbang on megadeth 🤘
Megadeth's masterpiece! My all time favorite Megadeth song. This is also the best version of Megadeth with Marty Friedman, Nick Menza, David Ellefson and of course Dave Mustaine. Also drummers build Popeye size calves LOL
I first heard this song when I was 13 years old. that song/record changed my life.
Dave Mustaine - Vocals, Lead Guitar, David Ellefson - Bass, Marty Friedman - Lead Guitar, Nick Menza (RIP) - Drums 😊
The way the last line lingers after the instruments stop, makes my spine tingle every time.
This is Terry VonCannon. As always a great reaction and you look awesome doing it. You need to check out Hangar 18. It was their self proclaimed masterpiece and is by far the most intricate and hardest for them to play. Keep rocking out! 🤘
Thank you so much, ill note that down ❤️
Menza had bionic legs I'm surprised he wasn't blowing up the skins with his power he was one of the best drummers ever. Megadeth is the king of the thrash bands
to me, THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST METAL SONGS OF ALL TIME!!!
For me too.
"Angry Again" is my favorite song by Megadeth. I discovered them in the movie Last Action Hero with Arnold Schwarzenegger!
I owned that soundtrack. I also first heard Megadeth's Go to Hell on the Bill and Ted Bogus Journey soundtrack.
Yes! That song is so good. That whole soundtrack is amazing. Way better than that movie deserved.
You are not imagining it, metal drumming burns a lot of calories and is a great way to stay in shape!
Another kick ass song! The drummer with the passion is pretty cool. I loved the skull, a little moment with the skull, nice video! There is another song by them which is the only one I have called Symphony of Destruction.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the extra support
Great pause before the last solo. Knowing you were about to have your face melted off by that solo was fun.
Thanks ❤
Megadeth is one out of the two of my favorite metal bands. Here is my 3x3 recommendation to react from them again. I said 3x3 because I'm recommend listening to three different albums with three songs from each album from Megadeth. From their Peace Sells...But Whose Buying album, I recommend 'Wake Up Dead', 'The Conjuring', and 'Peace Sells...But Whose Buying'. From their So Far, So Good...So What album I recommend 'Set The World Afire', 'In My Darkest Hour', and 'Hook In Mouth'. Finally, from their masterpiece Rust In Peace album, since you already reacted to their best song on this album, I recommend 'Hangar 18', 'Five Magics', and 'Tornado Of Souls'.
Hell yeah! Finally! Megadeth!!! 🤘 can't wait!
@Texas Toothpick Been recommending it for a while 😁
Great analysis! I never thought you notice that the drums basically give way to the guitar solo in the end.
There are only few people like you who is paying attention on the song.
Thanks for reacting to Megadeth Bisscute. You're the best!.🤘
They (well Mustaine I guess) release their 16th album, The Sick, the Dying... and the Dead!, this year on September 2nd. They're currently doing what seems like an MV series for it. Chapter 1& 2 are up on their YT channel. Also a "Visualizer" for Soldier On!.
For me Rust in Peace is one of my all time favorite thrash metal albums. It's a thrash masterpiece imo.
On this album, Rust in Peace:
Dave Mustaine (Co-founder)- lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitars (Megadeth lifer)
David Ellefson (Co-founder) - bass, backing vocals - member from 1983 to their breakup in 2002, again from 2010 to 2021
Marty Friedman - lead and rhythm guitars - member from 1990 to 2000 (guitar virtuoso)
Nick Menza - drums, backing vocals member from1989 to 1998
Current, The Sick, the Dying... and the Dead!:
Megadeth
Dave Mustaine - lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar
Kiko Loureiro - lead guitar, backing vocals
Dirk Verbeuren - drums
Additional musicians
Steve Di Giorgio - bass guitar
Brandon Ray - additional vocals
Eric Darken - percussion
Roger Lima - keyboards and effects
Ice-T - guest vocals on "Night Stalkers"
Sammy Hagar - guest vocals on "This Planet's on Fire"
Peace Sells... Wake Up Dead... She Wolf- Live
Megadeth's "Rust In Peace" is probably the best thrash metal album of all time! ....btw Bisscute, Dave Mustaine (singer) is formerly a member of the band Metallica...
Dave Mustaine is simply out of this world. He's a very talented both composer and musician. About his voice, you may like it (wich I think it happened) or you may not. Megadeth is a very technical band, you could check "Symphony of Destruction" (most known song by them), "Tornado of Souls" (great solo), "Wake up dead", "Sweating bullets", "Peace Sells", "A tout le monde" (one of the few ballads of the band). The Megadeth journey has just began, and you won't regret it!
First comment here. 'Holy wars' isn't usually a kind introduction for many, but you just genuinely enjoyed it. I really appreciate it. So, how about their first album for the next one. The most underrated and the angriest Megadeth album, in my humble opinion. You will enjoy it from the beginning! ^^
Picking up on the fact that Dave plays those intricate riffs and sings at the same time is pretty impressive, because he is renowned for that
My favorite incarnation of the group. This lineup worked so well together and produced most of the bands best albums. Rust in Peace is a top 5 Thrash Metal masterpiece of all time.
Megadeth's lineup in this video is, in my opinion, the greatest thrash metal band.
Tornado of souls!!! Best solo in metal history! Period!
Drummers have big calves and big forearms, you're right!
These guys kicked massive ass in concert such an amazing show
It's been a long time since I listened to much Megadeth.. I just don't get into Thrash metal much anymore. But some songs I liked included 'A Tout Le Monde', 'Foreclosure of a Dream', 'Countdown to Extinction', 'In My Darkest Hour'.
It's a bit ironic that both James and Dave never set out to be vocalist. It just happened . They wanted to play guitar. But both play and sing, and are pioneers in the big 4...
Yes! More Megadeth!
Nick Menza puttin' in work🤟
Wow there's so many megadeth songs to put in list's, let see.. hungar 18, Peace Sell, conjuring, wake up dead, five magics, mechanix, tornado of soul, hook in mouth, sweating bullet and many more. 🤘
🥺perfect circle - so long, and thanks for all the fish
Nick double base drum was insane!
Megadeth is amazing, you should also check their songs:
.Peace Sells
.Good Mourning/Black Friday
.In My Darkest Hour
.Set the World Afire
.Tornado of Souls
.Symphony of Destruction
.Ashes in Your Mouth
.Skin O' my Teeth
.A Tout le Monde
.Reckoning Day
These songs are from their golden age but there are some nice songs on the next albums too
To give you some perspective, this album came out during the First Gulf War and so did Slayer's Seasons in the Abyss. I mentioned them because I listened to your reaction to one of their songs yesterday. Lot of anti-war themes here. You should listen to In My Darkest Hour and Mary Jane from their So Far, So Good... So What album.
My Goodness that Accent is Absolutely Amazing!😍
I believe the drummer's cuffs are for muscle building, speed, and endurance....once they take them off it's like a 2nd wind. Megadeth has a very large list of songs to choose from, so many good songs. Hanger 18, Almost Honest, Blood of Heroes.....I could go on and on
0:46 chingue time
Glad you mentioned nick menza I met him during the clash of the titans tour nicest guy ever he grabbed my c.d and signed it figuring out that Dave mustaine was in a grumpy mood that day
One of the best guitar riffs you’ll hear
Check out Symphony of Destruction live in Argentina 🔥🤘🔥
Out of all the bands I've ever seen Megadeth is the band I've seen the most. I've seen them starting with this line up to their current line up. This line up is my favorite. The talent here is ungodly.
Dave Mustaine was the original guitar player for Metallica and basically wrote almost all of the first Metallica album. He took Kerry King from Slayer with him on his first Megadeth tour before Slayer started getting big. Dave Mustaine basically IS Thrash. He's also noted for inventing an entirely new style for playing guitar known as Spider Chords which helps greatly with his super fast agility around the instrument.
David Ellefson on Bass if I recall correctly was trained at the Berkley School of Music.
Marty Friedman on Guitar is hands down one of the best guitar players who has ever lived. In the Elite Class, no questions asked. His solo career stuff as well as his work with Legendary guitarist Jason Becker in the band Cacophony will melt your brain. It's almost unfair how much talent he has.
Then we have the late, great Nick Menza on drums. I used to play drums and he was a massive influence on me. And, yes, when you play like that you end up with legs like a professional Soccer/Football player. He along with Alex Van Halen are my two picks for the most underrated drummers of all time. Nick was crazy talented and some of the stories of him learning drums is insane such as getting drums lessons from BUDDY RICH! The GOD of all drummers.
This line up was in a league all it's own.
A timeless masterpiece. RIP Menza, one of the greatest.
The drummer eats calf's, drinks their milk, carries them for miles, and trains them on the drums.
pppprrrrritttyy,pppprrrrritttyy impressive.
Dave Mustain used to be one of Metallica's personnel... thank you for reacting to Megadeth's song... and the meaning of Megadeth is a nuclear explosion measuring device...
That drummer Nick Menza used to be a former Megadeth drummer's drum roadie...He was in the right place to step up and take over when they needed him...R.I.P. Nick
Oh?❤️
The tempo in heavy metal songs are there because it's damn hard to keep playing at a fast tempo throughout a song that is over a few minutes!!! And it also brings different elements of emotions and feelings into a song that is meant to make the people that are listening to it angry or disturbed by the songs meaning or the subject they are trying to make people aware of!!! Anyway that's just my humble opinion lol!!
Fun fact: after the Metallica experience Dave was on a train and he was reading a newspaper and he took inspiration for the name of his new band because there was an aritcle in that newspaper that was talking about a new war weapon named "Mega-Death machine".
Greyhound bus, not train
Amazing vocalist 🤘🔥
Nick the drummer was awesome in megadeth, sadly he passed away few years now.
Yeah I played drums back in the day, it does tend to improve your calf muscles, especially if you practice with weights around your legs to improve speed and strength. Menza, the drummer was a beast as well!
Love this song, the second part is about the Marvel comics character the Punisher whom I love, so there is some lyrical difference.
If you want a megadeth song recommendation, “never walk alone... a call to arms” is my fave!!
Such a banger! You should go to Tornado of Souls next, probably my favorite (and also considered by many the best) solo of all time in there:)
Liked your reaction if you are new to Megadeth i recomend to react to their live version of the song She Wolf you will love it.
By the way the vocalist os Dave Mustaine
And how was the first guitarrist for Metallica but how was kiked out and they replaced bom with Kirk Hammett ho os the current guitarrist since then.
After Dave left Metallica he formed Megadeth.
Hope you like the information.
Greetings from Portugal.
HAVE to do Hangar 18. Saw this tour live. Classic album
Megadeth 1990:
Vocalista e guitarra: Dave Mustaine
Guitarra solo: Marty Friedman
Bateria: Nick Menza
Baixo: David Ellefson
Thanks for that ❤️
They were known as 'State-of-the-art' Speed Metal 😎😁
The drummer nick menza died of a heart attack in 2016 playing the drums excellent musician
The best voice in all of heavy-metal. Known fact, Dave Mustang has the same octave range as Mariah Carey.. Funny, not one T-shirt and more hair than anybody would ever need .😆
some more megadeth songs to check out are "peace sells", "sweating bullets", "prince of darkness", and "symphony of destruction"
i still dont understand how people actually think its hard to play and sing this at the same time its way easier than it looks like
I love how innocent she is when she says "I love his facial expression, (4:40), his passion, uh beat that" but what she doesn't get is that mick menza's facial expression is probably a result of how coked up he probably from was at the moment xD hahahahahaha R.I.P. bro you're still missed.
Just react to the whole Rust in Peace album. It's a classic
Megadeth has a new album coming out Sept 2nd. 3 songs already on UA-cam. They’re Back!!!!
Short version for the meaning of the song. Holy Wars = Irish holy war. The Punishment Due = The Punisher (comic book character).
I see ❤️
The calves might be a chicken or the egg situation. Maybe the big calves are why he played so amazing or his playing made them grow. One of the mistories of life. Lol
OOOOO Megadeath, hear We`ll be back, definitely my favorite.
Greetings from Mexico.
Dave is one of the greatest guitarists in history
in my darkest hour is a must
Sepultura - Dead Embryonic Cells
Holy Wars / The Punishment Due :
Holy Wars = self-explanatory, about wars waged over religious beliefs.
The Punishment Due = based on marvel comics vigilante character, Frank "The Punisher" Castle, a veteran whose family was murdered (either by a mob/organized crime, or perhaps some military operation gone bad, I am not use which) and he conformed his lethal skillset into a vigilante crime-fighting objective. While not opposed to "terminating" the more dangerous criminals, he did employ more humane methods such as "mercy bullets" and other non-lethal alternatives in his vast arsenal.
The best of all time Rust in Peace and holy wars great song, forever Megadeth.
