I started my weekend off by volunteering for a pasta benefit supper. The monies raised benefit a local nature reserve. The rest of my weekend was being sick with a head cold and EMT homework.
I too struggle with trying new things. I get mad and sad towards myself when I don't do things the way I want to for the first time. It's hard to remind myself that it is okay not to do well at first... I am learning.
I also thought it was a very pleasant surprise to hear your voice. You have a very soft English speaking voice, with a very light accent.
Have a wonderful upcoming weekend with your family and friends!
    😊

Wow, you are volunteering, so great. I think most people afraid to do new things right? I want to be the person who try new things even I'm 80 years old ☺️. Have a great Sunday!

It was lovely to hear you speaking. Of course, your English is quite good. I love all the things your cats say. It's too funny. I think summer is probably the best time for fresh food here. But fall does bring pumpkin pie, squash soup, and apple cider donuts. I have Halloween lanterns just like the one you have. Decorating for Halloween is so fun! I hope you enjoy the cooler days.

Hi, Leah! Thank you for your message. Even cats have their own personalities and I always have fun time with them❤️ I didn't know about squash soup so I googled it. Looks yum! Have a great Sunday☺️ I'm so happy to know that you have cute lanterns!

Your English is great!! And I think your accent is very good too, so please don’t be nervous about it. I always love watching your videos!
Also, as an American, I’m so jealous of Japanese bathtubs 😅. American bathtubs aren’t very deep, so it’s hard to get a good soak. If I ever buy a house, installing a proper bathtub is the first thing I’ll do haha.

Oh, you are so sweet🥺. I have to get used to speak English right? Yeah, Japanese bathtubs are deep and nice. They were even deeper when I was a child and I liked sink into the hot water😂.

Hola Tomomo, thanks for your video, it was very fun. 😊
You have a very sweet voice, don't worry about the accent, we have understood you perfectly, when I speak english I also have a spanish accent, nothing happens, the important thing is that people understand you, in Spain we have a colloquial expression which is "echarle morro" It means that you don't care much about making mistakes and have humor in the face of failures.😉
In Spain it´s also very popular celebrate Halloween, we don´t celebrate it or decorate our house, we have other traditions in the month of November.
Daiso looks very good, about the notebook I would choose the Doraemon one without any doubt..I still remember the song "his magic pocket"
It's still hot here in my town, that's why I haven't changed my summer clothes and shoes, but inevitably this weekend I will do the change... what a nightmare...🙄 I liked seeing your kitten biting your boot, and when it fell asleep with your glasses...what a laugh, They are beautiful kittens.
Tell your daughter that we really liked the handmade owl, very "cuqui" (=adorable)🥰
When I do housework and cook, I always have the radio on, not music, but current affairs programs, the radio accompanies a lot.
Yesterday, October 12, was a holiday day in Spain, we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Day, we remembered the day when Spain discovered America and since that day we are united by history and language, this day there are a military parade is held, this year the daughter of the kings dressed as a soldier for the first time (because she is doing her training in the armies) and members of the army parade, the curious thing is that the members of the legion parade with a mascot, It is usually a ram, this year the mascot is called “Pacoli”, it is very original and fun, The members of the legion parade have a quick step, it is a special characteristic they have.
We see it on television, because going to Madrid city that day is complicated because a lot of people go (I will leave you links in case you are curious in another comment because I have a lot of problems on UA-cam comments)
Regarding food, I also take advantage of leftovers, nothing is thrown away....
We send you a big hug, for you, your family and the kittens.
With love from Madrid, Silvia and J.C.😘😘😘

      Hola, Silvia and Carlos☺️!
I could only speak softly because I didn't have any confidence😂. My voice is much louder when I speak Japanese, you can imagine right? I loved the Spanish expression! I will try to have humor in the face of failures.
Wow, I wonder what kind of traditions you do in November!
And I didn't get the Doraemon one, but she wanted the Doraemon one! Oops. Maybe next time.
She said "Thank you !" to you. She was so happy to hear from you!
Hmmm, thank you for teaching me the interesting stories all the time.
I couldn't find links that you left me, so I googled it and read about the holiday in Japanese.
I saw some pictures too. In Japanese sites, I could find many sites about it in the US. Maybe I have to google it in English later.
      Have a wonderful Sunday❤️
It's rainy and cold in my town so we will stay home and be lazy!
      Love ♡ tomomo

Your english is good! I love accents! Wouldn't it be so boring if we all sounded the same?
And its just awesome that you can speak and understand more than 1 language! Makes life a lot more interesting in my opinion 😊 And your daughters' owl was very cute too😄
Thank you for another lovely video. Wishing you and your family a safe and happy October!

You are totally right! It is fun that we have different kinds of accents right? Yes, I think I can see things from different angles because I can understand English😀. And my daughter said "Thank you!" to you. She was really happy to hear from you!

A suggestion - Add some audio (eg your voice)
If you read your "English subtitles" in Japanese, the videos will be a good resource to learn English.

That's really nice idea for the people who want to learn English right?
I don't know I have Japanese viewers who want to learn English, so we'll see!
