Oh, side quests definitely have multiple perks other than the xp! I’ve been thinking of doing a world-by-world full leveling and quest guide. The videos would be long, but in-depth with every single quest in order. Is this something you think you’d like to see? Considering in part, it also can act as a badge guide as well since a lot of badges are given from side quests.
By doing side quests, I was to reach level 58, getting it's new spell, before even reaching Malistaire. It was kind of funny really. The level 58 spell quest boss was a giant bug that worked for Morganthe and I haven't even defeated Mali yet. "Morganthe? Who the heck is that?"
I like this guide besides doing Grizzlehelm solo! I did that on my first toon as soon as I could do Grizzle and it was a pain on my storm, the only reason I got through it was cause I had a couple friends made already from streaming but it was still a long process. I feel leveling up through the normal quest line and side quest is fine until you’re at least 30 so you can easily do all quest and level up high enough so the higher level areas aren’t terrible
I love doing sidequests, but I forget that the changed the basegame.. I think i'll try this again on my Myth or Storm since they're still early on in Lvl
I did all my sidequests up until dragonspyre and it’s a really solid idea. Makes arc 2 much much more manageable. Especially if you tackle winter/grizzle before celestia
I’m lvl 38 and currently I think halfway into mooshu story (I’m cooked), I did every single quest in wizard city, I’ll probably do krok but Marley and mooshu are giving me ptsd so I’m not ever going back to those places)
See my problem is that I did exactly that up until about Dragonspyre. I started playing again back in 2019 and being overleveled made me feel good and all but it drove me crazy how often a spell quest wouldn’t be possible to complete because the area required is beyond that point in the main quest, which I would never be at. Demoralized me tbh 😅
Side quests are so slightly beneficial that if you just know the right dungeons to get good gear for your level than you can skip side quests with no backdraw. The only side ones you should do are the ones that give you training points or reagents for crafting or if you just need a slight oomph of exp to level up. Work smarter not harder!
This didn't used to be a thing i think until they made level locking a thing because i think the different areas of grizzleheim and wintertusk used to be level locked so like with wintertusk i think that one was locked behind 50
Wintertusk you had to be at least 48 and 50 I say 50 because that when the crit comes into play if you had the bundle gear it helps till you get your waterworks gear and that gear is good till you get your darkmoor gear.
thought about this quite a bit today and realistically Kingsisle would make the game free-to-play if they were truly in a rough spot, as even just in 2021 that was a year of 30M in revenue.
that's not what I do actually, that was the final dungeon for krokotopia. I solo all the quests on my own though. Also, that was another one of my accounts, not that it matters.
My main is level 20 and Goldpaws does not take me to Grizz. I think when I played years ago, he took me (before I was 20) So I guess he only takes you once? After that you need to spend crowns?
Doing housing dungeons helps to they can get level 1 to level 15 I think I wait till my wizard got to level 10 and did them and I got my wizard to level 20 or 22 it's been so long since I did them for a lower level. Before I started Celestia I quest around in winter tusk for a bit got my wizards between 55 and 56 before I start questing in Celestia I want my waterworks gear before I finish that world.
Long time player that took like a ten year hiatus before I started to play again on a new account. I haven't done Grizzleheim yet but I probably will finish DS first before then. I'm currently level 44 storm
On my max fire, I did all the side quests up to dragonspyre and part of celestia. I only did this for the special badges you get. This stopped after Zafaria (could be wrong). I didn’t see a point to do side quests after Zafaria
hey dude, I reccomend getting rid of the hashtags in title, not only do they look really bad, they don’t work in title, hashtags are limited to 3 and read from description on actual algorithm searching. I understand your a new channel but leaving those hashtags and the specific ones your using is not a good look and comes off desperate, reccomend just working on your thumbnails and titles and worry less about tags as they don’t matter as much as titles and thumbnails. Good luck on your channel and good video
I'm sorry but from 1:15 you said that it would take more time than usual, so why not just go the usual route, especially when you have the other account doing everything? + you can just do olympus at level 30 a couple of times to get a bit better stats + get a much greater stat boost with a good pet with that time instead of wasting crowns on a hyper elixir and/or doing the side quests? PLUS you can just literally buy monstrous treasure cards for almost nothing to boost every AOE that any school has? (don't even get me started on amulet/TC feints or blades/traps). I've been playing this game for 14 years since 2010 and I've never seen a serious player complete all side quests at once, if just for trolling :D *Just get to the higher EXP giving worlds faster and you will progress way faster after you get waterworks and if you know what you're doing* . The only thing that this guide helps in any way is to get spell quests A SMALL BIT faster (which you mostly don't need) or if you want to grind spellements/badges more. You're welcome.
Can confirm, did this unintentionally because that's just how I play, helps a ton
Level 60 before Dragonspye is absolutely insane! I'm trying to see when you hit Darkmoor fr 😭.
i did this on my main wizards it really helps if u want to badge hunt and as well as getting spellements during side quests even if youre max lvl

Hell yeah! This is the content I Subscribed for! Keep it up!
Strange, I did the exact same thing and I’m only level 46 and about to start Mooshu.
He used a hyper elixer for the higher level worlds but it’s not necessary you’ll still be high of a level to take on most worlds solo
See my problem is that I did exactly that up until about Dragonspyre. Easy just ask if somebody In the commons can take you there
@@awesomenesskid15I always do that
I just do the teleportable dungeon guide, currently lvl 23 while still in wizard city lmao
you might as well do all of grizzleheim then. thats over 20 free levels and you'll still be in wizard city

You get badges though too if you’re genuinely trying to max wizard101
@@xx-owo-xx agreed to that. I never cared too much about the badges, but that's a good point to those who do.
My general order is I do every sidequest until i reach DS I want to be level 50 by the time im done with arc 1.
Oh, what’s that? I couldn’t hear you over my Magical Marriage Councilor badge

Do every quest and have a higher level do all the battles for you- interesting way to play the game

Currently doing this with my storm, I’m lvl 40 entering mooshu. Feels great! And it’s super easy to fight :)

Im trying to 100% the game on each school and its insane lol
Im doing this rn, i started wintertusk at level 18 and currently i am level 44 with only a few more quests to finish wintertusk.
How I thought wintertusk wasn’t allowed for people below lvl 40? Or is that old information now?
@@Gunwhiteghost I think it changed after they added level locking.
you also get xp for using pips
yeah HYPEREXLIRES still scream pay to win

wow you should already said that you're that level DUE TO HYPEREXLIRS
Getting back into since 2010. Was debating if needed too. This made the choice easier. And the vid wasn't 20 minutes explaining a bunch of bs. ❤
I wouldn’t do every side quest. Only do side quests that give similar xp to your main quests/or that dont require that much time to do
dude is this actually real lmfao
It is lol. I am just a completionist though. :)
I did it’s on my fire and now I’m like 86 I stop in mooshu it’s not fun take to long and not fun.!
