My N7 came with 14.1 LOS. How can I enable wireless charge + OTG at the same time? Also need to activate swipe/touch/click screen to wake the device?
Works much better than the stock firmware. For Gapps I used ARM 7.1 pico

If someone gets stuck with TWRP not launching (Google logo with an unlocked key at the bottom), try booting back into recovery mode, and use fastboot to install a different twrp image twrp.x.x.x.img . For me 3.4.0 did not work, I had to use 3.2.1.

Most probably the drive is not installed properly or even adb is not installed properly. Are you using "Minimal ADB and Fastboot"?

how did u do 'flash custom recovery'. i didnt understand at 5.32 min
custom recovery.. once you have unlocked your bootloader and have TWRP downloaded. Just navigate to the folder and type 'fastboot flash recovery twrpxxxx.img'
Does this rom fix the battery drain issue that the oem marshmallow rom suffered from.
Basically the battery drains just as fast with screen off as it does in use, with shows as being permanently on even if set to turn off in standby.
So far it is functioning well... maybe you should try it out.

Now hold power and volume down together. And it will boot to recovery mode twrp I think from what I watched

Hi I want to Update my Nexus too but here on your description you put 5 links but you used only 2 links (Lineage & Gapps) so what is the others?
TWRP is custom recovery if you already have it on your phone then no need. For ADB and fastboot as long as your PC or laptop has it install you also no need to install it. As for USB driver as long as your computer can detect your phone there are no need to install the driver.

why the boot take so long
When you do the twrp you have to do something like: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot flash recovery C:\Users\Admin\Downloads\twrp-3.7.0_9-0-flo.img (aka find the path)
"fastboot devices" you are running this command from different path , for for this is not working , device is not getting connected and im not able to run "fastboot flash recovery" command because of this Please help Thanks
yes please set your ADB path in the environment variable. If you install minimal ADB and Fastboot you can just launch it it should be able to use in any location

logically if it is supported in stock rom it will support in Lineage
@@AskMike not true. several lineageOS builds lose some of the proprietary features, and my research i made after asking here, has led me to believe that on the N7 2013, lineage loses HDMI support.

You go to "Allow USB debug" on the tablet at 3 minutes. But it won't allow me to do that. If I could access settings I wouldn't need to replace the operating system!
Any android OS would allow you to enable USB Debugging/Android Debugging. Did you enable developer options?

I cannot get to developer options you asked about, because I cannot switch on! The only thing it will do is if I press Power and Vol down I get the android figure with the options of Power Off, Start, Recovery Mode, and Restart Bootloader. Power off does in fact work. If I select Start and press the Power button, it goes to the Google start screen, which is then frozen.If I select Recovery Mode it goes to the Google start screen frozen, as above.If I select Restart Bootloader, it goes to the android figure and the set of options as I began with.I have used ADB and Fastboot. A Fastboot Devices command will return the serial number. I have then tried to use ADB sideload to install a new OS from my laptop. I have razor in the laptop C:\ partition, and ADB successfully reads this. However, it then returns an error message "Device not found." Even though I entered the device serial number as supplied by fastboot in the command (with "ADB -s"} , and it is the same number on the tablet android figure screen.The only success I have had is that the command: Fastboot Reboot Bootloader brings the "Reboot Bootloader?" screen on the tablet, (not the one with the dead android; only text) There are instructions with a Yes/No option. Selecting Yes with vol up, and then pressing Power turns the screen tablet off and breaks contact with the laptop. (although this is not an off state, if left like this the battery will discharge fully.)Sorry for the long reply!
If you are in fastboot and are able to get serial number when you do a fastboot devices... then the next thing you need to do is to flash TWRP recovery for your device, which is fastboot flash recovery twrpxxxxx.img. Once you flash recovery you would be able to boot to recovery. Then other steps is the same.
@@colinpierpoint5380 if that stuff doesn't work for you what I did was I pulled off the back cover of the device pulled the power cable off of the main board and left it alone for 5 minutes then receded it turned it on and it got past the Google screen

The battery life seems good....... anyway got this tablet there are lots of custom rom that you can flash, I just prefer Lineage as it behave some what like stock.

You first need to unlocked bootloader. Do a fastboot oem unlock first before you flash recovery.

@@dmo848 yes, luckily it wasn't hard. I just followed a guide to go back to stock and then I tried installing twrp again. The second time all went smoothly.
