This show is like a typical American tv drama. A person shows up… The restaurant runs great…. Then it starts to crumble…… Then it gets great again… Same old..
Many episodes are 15+years old now but besides the lack of cellphones it's difficult to tell. Fashion and hairstyles didn't change much the last 15 years it seems.
In terms of business, you need people who are likely to be customers for the next 25 years plus. The elderly aren't. You can have them, but when it's only them, you've got a problem. He's said it before on this show. And he's right.
@@stephenfox8685 I understand from a business sense, but it's the way it's done. Also he makes extremely insulting comments behind their backs then acts all charming to their faces. Basically, he's a bit of a knob.
"I like your lipstick" Gordon casually rizzing up the local nursing home.
The restaurant closed in 2008. It was seized by the government for not paying its taxes.
Taxes are a crime.
Oh no
Very shortly after the episode aired, it was seized.
That makes me really sad.
Fuck the government and taxes
Father-in-law adding his own insults was weird
Too many people think a “business owner” is the easy role. Every *successful* business person is the hardest working person in the place.
And that's why I got home at 8pm Sunday night. It's tough work in any field if you really care and are successful.
I never believed it until I started my own painting company, the owner works the hardest.
39:41 I hoped he is going to say "YES" to the Gordon´s proposal:)
😂
We can say that this episode was on fire 🔥

This title is freakin hilarious
Ramsey is always so insulting about older guests. Does he ban over 65s from his restaurants?
A restaurant needs customers who are likely to be your budiness for the next 25 years. Pensioners aren't. He's spoken on that clearly.
