So I’m heading to Sedona, Arizona this weekend. I put the red pin where I want to stand and black pin on Cathedral Rock. It’s a difference of 7.75 degrees. I’m not seeing the dotted white line so does this mean I will be able to see the Milky Way
What if your trying to take a picture of the moon over a building how would I know when the moon going be exactly over the building I want ? Since the pin to pin won’t work on building as you say
why don't you try the APP called planit, it has a built-in virtual camera, it will automatically display the terrain, so that you do not need to calculate whether it will block.
Haha thanks, Ro! I am really glad someone caught on to that! It really is a helpful rule. I am sure more liked it but thanks for letting me know you noticed! Always so stoked when I hear people are learning something from these videos. :D -Aaron
Thanks for the kind words, Dylan! Love this app and there is so much to still cover too! For the next few days I will be talking other Milky Way Photography stuff but I will be back to PhotoPills you can count on that! 😃 -Aaron
Haha thanks, Jack! Really really appreciate hearing that! 😃 Hope more people will feel your way soon and we can get some serious growth this year!! I have a lot of content to produce coming up and so it is going to get fun around here! Thanks for watching! Really glad you loved it! -Aaron
Exactly, man! The more you know how to use it the more you can't live without it as a Photographer. These types of apps are so powerful and yet so confusing without some help from someone who has gone through the pain of learning it. :D I am stoked to be that person for you guys and I think you will like the app even more after today's video I am recording here in a few minutes! -Aaron
Thanks, Chris! Your wish is literally my command! I am planning on doing more and I will make today’s video another PhotoPills lesson since you would love it! I will teach the Find tool. The completely hidden yet completely brilliant tool in PhotoPills! 😃 -Aaron

10 points for the "10 degrees = 1 fist on the horizon" rule!
