My question is on the first row you when you added the pink, why didn't you just knit it in to start and slip? You added the color through a stitch and then started k1 s1.
I tried to write down the pattern. :) Maybe it can be of help : Cast on multiples of 2, with the First Color (FC) yarn Row 1 (RS): with the Second Color (SC) yarn > k1 through the back loop, *k1 sl1 purlwise (with yarn in back)*, k the last st Row 2 (WR): with SC > slip the first st purlwise (with yarn in front), *sl1 purlwise (with yarn in front) k1*, slip the last st purlwise (with yarn in front) Row 3 (RS): with FC > k1 through the back loop, k all st Row 4 (WS): with FC > sl1 purlwise (with yarn in front), p until one st left, slip the last st (with yarn in front) Row 5 (RS): with SC > k1 through the back loop, *sl1 purlwise (with yarn in back) k1*, k the last st Row 6 (WS): with SC > slip the first st purlwise (with yarn in front), *k1 sl1 purlwise (with yarn in front)*, slip the last st purlwise (with yarn in front) Row 7 (RS): with FC > k1 through the back loop, k all st Row 8 (WS): with FC > sl1 (with yarn in front), p until one st left, slip the last st purlwise (with yarn in front) Row 5: with SC > k1 through the back loop, *sl1 purlwise (with yarn in back) k1*, k the last st Row 6: with SC > slip the first st purlwise (with yarn in front), *k1 sl1 purlwise (with yarn in front)*, slip the last st purlwise (with yarn in front) Row 7: with FC > k1 through the back loop, k all st Row 8: with FC > sl1 (with yarn in front), p until one st left, slip the last st purlwise (with yarn in front)
