Hello, Go Green Autos Ltd, Thanks for your honest review it is appreciated. Just to note we have taken onboard the comment about the jack head not fitting the jacking point properly we will now be offering the BMW i3 K.O.M space saver kit with a jacking pad adaptor which fits inside and protects the plastic jacking point on the I3, this will be available from 02/03/2020.
Becoming a bigger issue now in the UK with the lack of road repairs. Its a huge problem in Oxfordshire. The roads are terrible and some rural roads are like farm tracks!
I buy a spare for every car . I wouldnt drive without one. Top tip :- always try out the new spare at home. Its better to find out something does not fit at home with a ciup of tea in your hand rather than at 3am in the rain in winter 100 miles from home !. The only question with the i3 is whether to buy a spacesaver or simply another original. With the 225s on my BMW 840 it was an easy choice but with the thin wheels of an I3 it might be better to simply have a spare original wheel
@@GoGreenAutos To add to your comment, tyres are directional, not sure if using an ordinary tyre and wheel is an option. Thanks for the video, I was caught out this morning on the way to work. Sooo inconvenient.

Would this fit on a 2015 BMW i3 as well?
@@LauraR-cu8oj i3 are all the same
Boy did need this; I hit a pothole of the 5 Fwy and wait for 4 hrs for a tow and 2 at the dealer for a replacement tire

A spare is invaluable. It's sad BMW don't give you proper space to store if you chose in the e92 I have
Can you purchase this Tyremen i3 kit somewhere in the USA?
Just get a BMW i3 19" wheel and tyre from the BMW Official Store on Ebay, its £250 and a proper wheel that isn't temporary.
And the cost of a tyre??
But then you've only got a 50% chance it isn't temporary, as the i3 as different sizes front and back.

How is that a 'space saver'?, was it a smaller diameter and expanded when you inflated it ?
No. True, its not a space saver when compared to the i3, but is for all other vehicles.
